The Vong will pay, and they will pay dearly...
The Bothan Assault Cruiser, in full glory.
Armed with a 24 dual heavy turbolaser turrets, 12 medium turbolaser turrets, and 7 proton topedo launchers on each side with 4 more in the front, many other weapons hidden inside the armor and tractor beams, these thick armored ships excel at decimating enemy vessels at close range.

OK, so for those trying to understand how we are balancing, here is a quick rundown:
Bothan ships excel at close range combat. They have medium speed, and very tough armor with decent shileds. Their weaponry is deadly at medium range. They lack however, powerful long range weaponry and heavy ions.
The Kuati have heavy armor and strong long range weapons. The Kuati have slower moving ships with slower firing weapons. Normal shielding.
Corellia has fast moving ships, powerful long range weapons and fast firing weapons. They lack however strong armor.
Sullustians have strong shields, decent armor, and more of a focus on heavy ions.
Mon Calamari have the strongest shields and more of a focus on long range weaponry.
Imperial Remnant has weaker shields, decent armor, but the strongest weaponry.
Subtle differences, but as you play the mod, you will soon take notice during battles.

Will you treat this ship as a true frigate as I've noticed some do or as a capital ship such as the Ralroost lets you imagine it to be? I figure it as a head to head match with a mid ro'ik but not an Imperial Star Destroyer
while shorter than a MC80, the BAC is just as heavily armored and fiercely armed. It fills the role of a cruiser securely. Not a frigate such as the Nebulon B.
