The Rendili Battleship : Abolisher-Class Dreadnaught
Developed during the Galactic Civil War, but seldomly used due to it's high costs and maintenance fees, the Abolisher Class was designed to put an end to any engagment. Heavily shielded, the battleship featured 6 protected hangers allowing 6 squadrons of fighters to enter a battle scene. At 1600 m, the Abolisher was just as long as an Imerial Star Destroyer; weaker armored but more heavily shielded, and armed with more heavier weapons yet suffering from a slower speed. The Abolisher features 6 heavy ion turrets, a multitude of dual heavy turbos, and dual long range heavy lasers with numberous medium tubo emplacements.
Special feature: 6 flank mounted anti-capital missile silos allowing devastating broadsides to any warship of a similar size or larger.
Kitbash by Burntstobe, using Warb Null's Valor cruiser, Petroglyph's Assault Frigate MK2 and various EvilleJedi components.
It has always bothered me that on wookipedia when you look at Rendili Star Drive ships, there is always mentioned a Rendili Battleship, yet never a description of it...
This now puts me at peace, as well as any enemy that gets in its way...
This bears the almost exact look and style of the valor class battleship the two are almost identical not that I am complaining I love the look of the valor class.
Kinda reminiscent of the Valor class..... Beautiful anyway though :D

Did the New Republic rebuild the Valor class? If so, Will they reproduce Hammerhead Class cruisers also?
Rendili produced the Valor, many years before during the time of the Old Republic. The Abolisher is an evolution of the ship design wich returned to that style, just as the assault frigate mk2 is an evolution of the dreadnaught.
No KOTOR ships were used in this time period.

No, it is not the new republic, it is Rendili.
Shipyards were independent of governments. Governments purchased ships from ship manufactures. Rendili sold ships to anyone. The Rendili battleship was a cannon starship that was produced during the galactic civil war, but was never described in appearance. Rendili has a history of evolving star ship designs. Rendili chooses evolve starship designs, Corellia uses modular components, Sullust and Mon Cal create original designs.
There is no need for the Harrower, it's natural evolution is the Imperial Star Destroyer.
The only custom "new republic" ships were the 5th fleet, know as the modernization program. This is the equivalent of the Empire's custom design style.

No, we are staying as close to cannon as possible, we are not inventing imaginary ships just for the sake of it. The empire has a full roster of ships already.

Yes, eventually as a villip. all time is being spent on coding, models , textures and rigging at the moment.

Head cannon is the only cannon that matters. If you do it any other way it will just end up ******* you off.
The Empire has a military of billions you can make up all the tanks and ships you want, have you ever just looked at the Dark Empire Comics, theres a friggin space aircraft carrier (like the naval ones, I sith you not, page 337). If anything there are plenty of local planetary/system militaries that can have any short of hardware, just slap an Imperial emblem on it.

So to explain for everyone, since there might be a little confusion:
During the Vong war, the galactic government collapsed, the Senate was destroyed and Coruscant was captured. All planets adopted independent governance, the New Reoublic government dissolved. The Jedi fled to Yavin and with the help of the Calamarians, formed the new Galactic Alliance government with Senator Cal Omas. The Mon Cal supported the Jedi with their fleets, the New Republic navy followed the command of Cal Omas (despite the new republic government ceasing to exist). All other planets went rogue and governed themselves.
So, for the mod, players will be able to play as the 3 main factions trying to take control of the galaxy: the Vong, the Hutts, the Galactic Alliance. Each of these 3 factions will be on a quest of not just survival, but also reuniting the galaxy under one rule. Any of the subfactions (independent governed planets) can join forces with any of the 3 main factions. So Kuat can become business partners with the Hutts, the Imperial Remnant can join forces with the Galactic Alliance, and Corellia can join the Vong by fighting alongside the Peace Brigade.
So, Rendili for example, is an independent subfaction. It produces its own line of ship designs. If the player chooses to form an alliance with Rendili, that player will then gain the Rendili ship types.
It might sound a little complicated right now, but it will all make sense in time ;)

That's how a galactic strategy game should look like! Anyway always you anounce such a great coding matter I can only think about Wariscool and the coders, poor guys, they do work in the shadows but they also deserve the fans admiration. Burnstrobe I have also a question for you: The galactic overview you have described focus in the second part of the war, after the fall of Coruscant, but will we be able to play and see the previous part (the start of the invasion, the overwhelming assault of the vongs to Coruscant...)?

Wariscool, Sam, and Cheesecake are 3 of the most talented people I have ever met in this community, they work so hard on building things and coding the impossible, I am blown away every-time I work with them.
The whole team is incredible, I thank everyone daily for all their work, and soon we hope to show some of it in a video.

Just now catching up on mod progress. You say the Jedi fled to Yavin, but by the time Coruscant fell Yavin 4 had been captured by the Vong. The Jedi were on Eclipse, Maw Installation, and various battlegrounds. Mon Calamari is where the Jedi with the Smuggler's Alliance aid helped Cal Omas to be elected

It was made to resemble the Valor cruiser intentionally. This was done on purpose.
when you do the Ssi-Ruuvi will those bubbles on their models hold the soul energy. because that would be awesome.
