Description
Sienar Fleet Systems answer to the DP20, the IPV-4 has been along for a long history of Imperial rule. A very fast and nimble ship with decent shield generators, the IPV-4 featured a 'power to engines' special ability and was armed with 4 dual Light Laser turrets and 1 Proton Torpedo tube.
The IPV's were fast and deadly versus freighters and other corvettes but their light armor left them easy prey to Frigate strength firepower.

Often found working in tandem with Imperial Custom Frigates, the Custom Frigates would provide AA cover while IPV's hunted down corvettes.
Although the DP20 was more heavily armored, the proton torpedo and fast speed of the IPV made it a deadly adversary.
So do all or most of the ships in this mod have their cannonical armaments, or are they gonna be scaled back for performance reasons?
we are trying to match canon armaments where best applicable for gameplay.

I didn't know the IPV was a corvette killer?
It is larger than most corvettes, most corvettes don't carry torpedoes.

This is also the IPV-4, upgraded to carry torpedoes instead of just a warhead launcher.
