The HIC : Heavy Ion Cannon
The most powerful version of Ion weaponry equiped by ships, the HIC has a slow fire rate, but 2-3 shots can decimate shields of large capital ship. A rarity amongst ships due to its power demands and its cost, the HIC can be seen on such ships as the Corellian Desstroyer, the MC85, MC80B, Rejuvenator and other large capital ships.
The HIC features a reinforced composite armor skirt to allow it longer sustainability in battle due to its size.

will there be ships with black market tech? that was the only good thing about the zann consortium in FoC but it makes sense for some bounty hunter heroes and pirates.
also will there be civilians walking arround cities and in space?

Giant vong ship appears or a massive battle is taking place... how many civilians are going to stay around exactly? I never saw a point to them just flying around enjoying the scenery while everything goes to hell. It doesn't make sense.

exactly, i got the idea the other day playing good ol' x-wing alliance, when space stations are under attack everyone tryes to get the hell out of there while the empire strikes.
if there's a script that makes every civilian to maps corners and launch to hyperspace could do the job.
there should be traffic incomming and going to other planets from space stations.
if its possible then it will be great.
