Bothan Advanced Frigate image - Yuuzhan Vong at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
Designed in partnership with the Galactic Alliance, the Advanced Frigate features a sleak profile, fast speed and a deadly armament for a ship of it's size. Slightly longer than a Nebulon B, the Advanced Frigate features more weapons yet less armor. It compensates with stronger shields and speed.
Armed with 6 dual medium turbolaser turrets, 5 dual laser turrets and 3 fast tracking blaster turrets, this ship is a welcome site to any Bothan.

The Advanced Frigate has stronger shields and features a small launch hanger capable of launching 1 squadron of fighters, and allowing mid battle fight repairs. The Nebulon B features stronger armor and almost as good shielding.
Neb B has 6 medium dual tubos in the rear, a fixed heavy turbolaser in the bow, and a few other light lasers mounted internally in the head. The main difference between the 2 ships is that if the Advanced Frigate looses it's shields, it can be quickly damaged, since all of its weapons are external, as opposed to the protected internal front weapons of the Nebulon B.
Yay, starting to see the links between YVaW and Legacy Mods. Once my finals end this week, I can do a lot more work for both!
Also, nice strategy-design for the Bothan ships.
So i have to use it only with big fleet (judging by weak shields)
Ship has strong shields,weak armor ;)
The ship fulfills the roles of both, the Nebulon B and the DP20.
The building of this ship will become available later in the war, maybe like tech 3, and will replace the need to build 2 ships.
The rear turret reminds me a bit of the old WWII "Flying Fortress"

My favorite part of the ship is the rear facing fast tracking blaster turret, if no one minds me complimenting my own work ;)
Sort of reminds me of the German dornier bombers.
Well well what do we have here?! :P Great job guys well done! Ship looks really nice and feels very Bothan-y (is that a word?!) This along with the BAC and the other Bothan frigate you showed way back are some of my favorites. You still gonna include the other frigate, right?
Yes, good memory, the Bothan escort frigate from long ago.
It is currently being recreated by Lord Enpremi and will serve the role of a concussion missile/ion cannon platform.
But there is still more to the Bothan armada...
