Description
A corvette hunter.
The Bayonet was designed by Sienar to be an Outer-Rim patrol ship, but it proved exceptionally well at being a corvette hunter. Armed with 4 dual Imperial Turbolaser Tower turrets, 3 dual Imperial AA blaster lasers, Power to Engines and Conner Nets, the Bayonet was fast and hard hitting.

How did you scale these turbolaser towers?
they are the same size as the turbolaser towers on the ISD

Budget version but looks so great you would not mind cruising around in that...
did anyone else always hate the bayonet? i never liked the design of it
There's an interesting discussion and history behind the design. But ultimately we are kinda stuck with the model bases we have available.
The common "design" used for the Bayonet is a 500-meter Pursuit-class light cruiser from the old comics. EvilleJedi when making his models assigned to kinda-unnamed PLC to the named but unpictured Bayonet. Its stuck since primarily because people are used to them being together.
Especially ironic because the PLC is actually called a pursuit-class cruiser in the comic page, and by the millennium falcon in the comic does scale to around 400-500 meters but EJ used it for the Bayonet, yet a corvette from a different comic is unnamed and fits the Bayonet's 200-meter size...
Cant wait for an actual space battle. All your ships looks so gritty and brutal, love that.
