As the Allies begin to tighten the noose on the Third Reich with the combined offensives of Operation Overlord in the West and Bagration in the East the fate of Europe hangs in the balance. Using technologically advanced weaponry never seen before and fielding some of the largest armies ever assembled in history these great powers will clash in countless attacking thrusts and counter thrusts right through to the final great Battle for Berlin.

Now you can recreate the battles of this turbulent time in history with Wikinger: European Theater of War! Will you choose to lead The Red Army into Europe or Fight from the Beaches of Normandy with the Western Allies? Or alternately can you stem the tide of invaders with the battered but unbroken Wehrmacht or use your elite Waffen troops for one last great offensive gamble, relying on Wunderwaffen to win the day!

While we are a long way from completion, we stand behind our mod knowing that it is an enjoyable experience. Each successive patch we roll out improves upon the one that preceded it.

The upcoming Wikinger Mod version 3.1.8 will have a new way in which skins are implemented and displayed in game. Players will no longer have to have Wikinger Skin Packs equipped before a match. (Many players already do this to prevent waiting for new players to download them).

We have found a way of applying the skins to each vehicle without having the skin pack equipped before a match. Even if your teammates or opponents do not have our skin packs installed, you will still see the correct skins for ALL vehicles during the game(including the AI!).

So what is necessary for you to see our skins? Make sure your Wikinger Skin packs are installed, subscribed, and up to date. As of today(Feb. 12, 2018) this is what we have:

To further enhance the immersion, we recommend that you make sure that you have in the Graphics Options, the "Hide Vehicle Decals" checked to ON. This will eliminate the team color "stripes" from all vehicles.

Here's a preview of some of the new skins you will see in the upcoming version 3.1.8: (keep in mind all of these are subject to change)

Now the German Panzer Division was very ridiculously positioned when he dispatched the Weitmann after an 8 minute long resource penalty and the Weitmann would still be easily penetrated against Allied tanks, the IV was even more ridiculous. The IV doesn't hold even ground at all in exchanges with Allied tanks, and it's highly recommended that Panther Tank D be added to the Panzer sws and replaced with an unlockable tech for manpower for fuel that you can do to limit the number of Panther tanks.
you could add the option to build Panther Tank D with a tech that unlocks Panther Tank D in place of human conversion fuel.
This would better reflect the German Panzer division's lack of men and lack of fuel in the later stages, and as a Panzer division he should not be denied permission to build Panther tank.
Panzer IV can be maintained at its current level。
This is a lesson I have learned from countless expert games with my friend.
Believe me, you don't have that much human resources for fuel conversions as well as producing heavy tanks in expert matchmaking. Also if the player is good enough, the Allied advance is extremely fast and the British armoured division with American armoured division and artillery can handle German super heavy tanks quickly

I liked previous versions more. Panzer IV and other german tanks are destroyed from 1-2 shoots from a Sherman, even a light CPU spam one unit after another, Building times of defenses (static doctrin) are ridicilous so that you never can build up a defense line... It's just become unplayable for me.
