What is it?

The BFME2: HD Edition is a model pack featuring both reworked and all-new unit and hero models.

Our primary goal is to preserve the distinctive style of BFME2's models

while thoroughly polishing them up.

If you like what we do, support the team on Patreon.

How does it work?

BFME2: HD Edition is being developed primarily for use on Revora's T3A:Online multiplayer server.

The most important feature of this model pack is that it's intercompatible, meaning you can

use it online even if your opponent doesn't have it installed.

You will not run into any compatibility or out-of-sync issues while running this pack.

How do I install it?

Simply download the file HERE and run the installer!

After that, click the HD Edition shortcut on your desktop to run!

Future packs for BFME1 and RotWK are planned.

The Lord of Ravens

News 8 comments

AotR logo medium

Introducing one of Erebor's unique heroes:

Roäc the Raven-lord.

Roäc son of Carc was the Lord of Ravens during Thorin's time. Of old, the Dwarves of Erebor enjoyed a close relationship to these exceptionally intelligent birds - going so far as being able to communicate with them. Roäc was the bird that Thorin sent to the Iron Hills to contact his cousin, Dáin Ironfoot to come to their aid.

In Age of the Ring, Roäc is an airborne support hero. He's unable to attack, which means he has to level up in a different way. Using the same system that was used in The Dwarf Holds, the player can purchase Roäc's levels from his first ability:

Rank 1: Lord of Ravens
Allows Roäc to grow in strength. Becomes more expensive the higher Roäc ranks up.
At rank 1, he gives +5% movement speed, at rank 3 he additionally gives +10% experience gain, at rank 5 he gives +10% movement speed.

Rank 1: Subtle Ways
Roäc is useful, but vulnerable. In order to have a chance on a dangerous battlefield, he can conceal himself so long as he remains still.
Roäc becomes invisible while remaining still.

Rank 3: Unkindness of Ravens
Using mysterious-sounding calls and subtle magic, Roäc can slow down the enemy below him.
Enemy units below Roäc lose -7% movement speed.

Rank 3: Wisdom of Yore
Through years of gathering information and offering advice to the King Under the Mountain, the Ravens of Erebor have become skilled in lore and wisdom. Roäc, being the wisest of all, can offer his wisdom to provide experience to units.
Friendly units within the radius gain experience.

Rank 5: Messenger of the King
The Ravens of Erebor have always served as messengers between the various Dwarf kingdoms. As such, Roäc is able to summon a battalion of Iron Hills Warriors to aid the King in battle.
Summons one battalion of Iron Hills Warriors.

Hello!
I'm new to adding mods and was curious if you can run different mods simultaneously? I ask cause I certainly would like to have this mod and maybe one or two others at the same time running.

How can i make this work with a zoom out mod? And which zoom out version should i use? ( I am using 1366/768 resolution, and it-s insanely zoomed in).

I really like the update, especially Galadriel. I would like to have her as a permanent hero with the elves and replace her with Frodo as heros of the rings

BfME2: HD Edition is for vanilla, online compatible play. If you'd like to have Galadriel as a permanent hero and Frodo Baggins of the Shire as a Ring Hero then I recommend The Age of the Ring and playing as the Lothlorien faction, a mod from the same artists as the HD Editions.

This mod is simply beautiful,
The new models are a great quality, gives you the feeling of playing a new game with that level of detail that is put on each unit, the new icons are simply a work of art.

I look forward to the rotwk version.

You really deserve the 10/10.
