"Guardians of Azeroth" is a mod with a worldwide development team, based on the Warcraft universe by Blizzard Entertainment. In this mod, our team is working to recreate the world of Azeroth in all of its glory, particularly focusing on the story of the classic Warcraft strategy games and World of Warcraft Classic. In this mod, you will be able to assume the role of one of the human kings, elven counts, or murloc chieftans in order test your luck in the quest for bringing Azeroth under your heel! You can restore justice to Azeroth, plunge the world into the chaos and fulfill the prophecy that is the Hour of Twilight, or burn it all in the name of Sargeras. If that is not your style, you can also choose to indebt every living realm on Azeroth to your wealthy Goblin cartel. Every decision is yours to make!

Question: what's that island off the southern coast of Northrend? Never seen it before on any map..

That would most likely be the Strand of the Ancients battleground. It is described as being south of Dragonblight.

All I want to know is... Can I play as Medivh and simply not open the Dark Portal until I manipulate Stormwind into becoming my private army, summon the Horde and make Human/Orc hybrids that will conquer an unsuspecting Azeroth. Also use my position as Guardian to take over the Kirin Tor and Dalaran, depriving the non-existent Alliance of its Magi and after that destroy Kul Tiras, making sure that the Alliance (which has not been formed) will in the future not have any ships whatsoever. After that I pretty much just steamroll over the rest of the Human Kingdoms by force or diplomacy. Don't mess with the elves and dwarves at all. Instead I engage in an alliance with the elves to crush the Amani once and for all. And while some of my forces aid the might of the Thalassian army in Zul'aman, I take the rest of my forces to take Silvermoon just as Zul'aman is eradicated. This leaves the elves weakened and in my control as I take hold of the Sunwell. With these powers at my command, I seduce a dwarven noble and manipulate her to the throne of Ironforge, at which a third of the dwarven forces will be at my command. The Gnomes then have a choice. Join me and I'll help them liberate Gnomereggan, or be purged from my kingdom. Then I just deal with the rest of the dwarves peacefully. The Wildhammers will probably agree to a prosperous alliance while the Dark Iron will be stuck in their little mountain, starved until they either join me or summon an elemetal lord. But shouldn't be a problem to my then close to countless armies. After that I make an alliance with the Zandalari to deal with both the Night Elves and the Gurubashi's Blood God Hakkar. Once Hakkar is dealt with, I move to southern Kalimdor and erect a few cities and whatnot. Nothing major. Approach the Night Elves peacefully while sending in operatives to slaughter the Druids in their sleep. Especially Malfurion. Once they are taken care of, I move the entirety of my armies onto the unsuspecting Kaldorei lands and kill them all. Cenarius, Illidan, Tyrande and the Green Dragons will probably the hardest to deal with, but with a Sargeras posessed Medivh with the power of the Sunwell it shouldn't be that much of a problem. I'll need to make sure that Cenarius' body is completely incinerated so that his bodyparts can't be used to summon an immortal army of wisps to eradicate my forces. Then I finally reach the Well of Eternity, summon Sargeras unto Azeroth, purge it of the Old Gods and corrupt the Titansoul into servitude of the Legion and Sargeras' Grand Crusade shall be victorious!

Or I just don't open the Dark Portal at all... yeah, that was my question
