Story:
Year: 1961
Location: Southchinese ocean
Time: 5:23 am
The amarican government want to spy the Vietcongs and have sent the soldier called "Sam Brown (Pyro)".
The leading force is a small base which is called "Central" .
On Sam´s mission he´ll find out some interesting things about the Vietcong´s.
The Mission seemed to be desaster, right untill the beginning. Things started to contradict themselves, and Sam became forced to make his own decisions. The only person he could trust from now, his himself.

Vietcry Steam Fix
1. Extract the "Vietcry.ZIP" File.
2. Copy the "Vietcry" folder to: "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Crysis\Mods".
3. Start Vietcry with the "32 Bit Application.Bat" from the Mod folder.
At start, download the Non-Setup version of Vietcry.
1. Extract the "Vietcry.ZIP" File.
2. Copy the "Vietcry" folder to: "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Crysis\Mods".
3. Start Vietcry with the "32 Bit Application.Bat" from the Mod folder.
IMPORTANT !!!
1. You can NOT use the 64 Bit launcher, Steam don´t have 64 Bit support for Crysis.
2. Your Crysis have to be patched at 1.2 ...... Checked ? ... Okay check it again !

excellent german voiceacting, good intro and weaponmodels, really beautiful map, sexy soundtrack...but the ai seems to be lost on the maps sometimes, weapons and bodies just disappear, and the car model should be custom authentic not a futuristic hummer.

Not awesome, not terrible. To start I will say it's a very fun mod, and for the most part doesn't have bugs or glitches. However, it has some problems that prevent me from giving it a high rating. Let me say the no nano suit thing is awesome. For the last 20 years games have made you the super badass and it's refreshing to have to creep through the foliage slowly and carefully (I played on the max difficulty) or you get 1 shotted by some dude you didn't see. But the setting is also the game's biggest…

Great mod dude! I really love it. It has really well designed map, good storyline, and nice weapons model. But it's too short :(
Anyway do you working on new release? could you make the story longer?

I don´t made the weapons, sometimes i had enter to a compromise. It´s a free Mod and not a game ;)

Das Storywrighting ist auch nicht unbedingt meine Stärke, und beim Schreiben ansich muss man wiederum oft überlegen was mit der Engine umsetzbar ist und was nicht. Ich wollte kein Kriegsgebiet schaffen, mir ging es eher um die Atmosphäre des Vietnam-Jungels und die Plantagen. ;P
Mich freut es sehr das dir das mit der Ungenauigkeit der AK zB. gefällt. Ist nicht jedermans Sache.

Die deutsche Synchro ist einfach Wunderbar!
Ich find die Story jetzt nicht so töfte, ich denke es geht bei der mod auch nicht darum, aber sie hat mich desöfteren schmunzeln lassen :D
Mir gefällt total dieses ungenaue zielen, ich hab oft gedacht "Hey schnell n Heady verteilen und weiter" war aber nicht so hehe...
Hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht obwohl ich oft gestorben bin :D

Never, ever in my history of mod testing I had a german voice acting. You did very wunderbar, freunde!
also after playing the mod, the ar-15 has a crane stock which didnt exist in vietnam, the ak47s sights are too low, the colt has 12+1 shots instead of the proper 7+1.

This mod is amazing, even though i'm from the U.S. and do not understand a single word of German. Great job. I have a question though... I made to level 2 and get a bug, many of the objects are in a yellow ball, which is usually what the enginge does when it can't load something. I just blew up the 2 warehouses, and went to get the radio but the infustructure of the building is an error ball, and i cannot reach the radio to move to the next objective.I am all updated. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue and resolved it.
haha, i have a mild understanding of german, but hearing someone bark at me auf deutsch in a warzone is unparallelled in awesomeness whether i understand it or not!
