Non-dialog Subtitle Background (solved) Thread - Vanilla UI Plus mod for Fallout: New Vegas

Is it possible to restore the dialog background on subtitles for non-Dialog menus and if so, could you tell me how? Thanks.

But I'll restore _VUI+SubtitleBackground (for both Dialog and the active game's subtitles) in the new version, hopefully late July.

Was there a reason why you removed it in the first place? Just curious.

The reason is in the description of this plate.

I prefer to keep options to the minimum, to keep the code easy to understand by other mod authors. However, there were too many requests to restore the background option, so I'll restore it.

Has this been added back? I couldn't tell by the notes here 😅, please lemme know!

I don't think it was added, the last version was uploaded March 2023. I also can't find the option in the .XML
