Unreal Tournament Community SDK is an open source engine fork of the Unreal Engine 1.x with a modern development framework for Unreal Tournament. A thousand delays later we hit rock bottom and infinite possibilites at the same time with this community-propelled engine fork for one of the greatest 3D games of all time. We will never forget nor forgive what Epic Games did on the 14th December 2022.
The coming Beta Q1b/2024 release in early April will feature a new material system. Previous material support was limited, especially when it came to in-Editor support.
This new material system features Texture Browser and Texture Properties Window support - so you always see which material you're dealing with on fly, even before applying to primitives, that are supporting materials.
In this example you see a 2-layered material. Materials[0] has a simple UTexture ('Ancient.Basicrok') applied to it, while Materials[1] uses 'UnrealShare.Effect51.MyTex3' as a simple UsdkTexDiffuse, with translucent texture blending, which blends with Materials[0] to create the whole material effect.
