Before there were any races, planets, galaxies or even life itself, the 13 Ancients of Ages created 13 Titans, their lesser representations to expand their knowledge by learning more of each others powers as each Titan represented the Elder who created him/her through not only emotions but powers as well. One of the created Titans was Nephthys, representing Kali, the most powerful and most respected ancient of them all.

If you don't know already, Underworld Part-1 is going to be released sometime next month and the last beta is almost ready for testing. Meanwhile, some new shots for screenshots watcher community :)

If you know Wc3, then you already should notice the new high-res textures all over the new shots. Also, those blinding shines and small bloom like effects are for real in-game, not photoshopped.

You really *can* do some neat imitation bloom by overlaying Alpha textures with Translucent blending.
Even the oldest of rendering engines support that technology, so it comes down to creative artistry ;)

I've used that same technique for the "fake blooms" in KF ;)

Hmm, thanks for the tip, I will try to see if I can do this in Wc3. BTW, I am imitating bump mapping as well in textures (thus, the more realistic look on floors and pillars).
