The year is now 2037. The Tiberian World now stands with a very uncertain fate. The two most powerful and influential forces on the planet are trapped in a never ending dead lock of war and combat. Whilst the Global Defense Initiative has suffered many blows and military defeats, the faction itself still stands strong and has shown the world its amazing ability to endure harsh punishments and has recovered much lost ground. The Brotherhood of Nod has struggled and triumphed over its enemies, only for its victory to be short lived by the death of Kane the Messiah, causing an ever lasting deterioration through the Brotherhood and leading to defeats and chaos amongst the large faction. With the end of the First Tiberian War comes the dawn and age of a new, second Tiberian War, with new terrifying possibilities and potential. The fate of Earth lies dangerously unknown.
Twisted Insurrection: November Update
Although it may not appear like it, a lot has been going on behind the scenes for Twisted Insurrection, including talk of a new Large Patch Release this Xmas. Check out this update for more information.

Whilst I am making an announcement post, it's an ideal time for me to share with you what has been going on behind the scenes as It has been quiet around here for a while. We're always busy behind the closed Staff Forum doors, regardless of what the silence in the public sections lead you to believe, and here are a couple of previews of what we have been working on.
- My Co-Leader, Lin Kuei Ominae had been working on some many eye-candy tests a while ago in order to improve upon some of our older tests. Some of these tests (which have turned out very successful) will be implemented into the next build for you to enjoy during the next release, which might even be an Xmas present from me to you this year.

- As some of you may already be aware, I have posted previews of the new Trees that Mig Eater and I have been working on in the Terrain Forum, the Tiberium Flora is soon to be replaced by Droke and Myself too. If you haven't seen the tree already, here are some previews for you of the different kind of tree sets:

- All the trees that you have been shown on the last point are all in-game and completed, but there will be many more to come to add a larger variety soon, including Tiberium Flora replacements as I have previously stated. Here is a preview of these new trees on some of our current maps:

- Some work from the Mapping side of the Twisted Insurrection fence, which again some of you may also be aware of. Dudeinabox and I have both made a new map each which adds to our huge Map selection variety, hopefully we will reach over 100 Maps (that's one of our main goals) before the Final Release occurs, check out these new maps in actual size by clicking on the Mini-Map previews below:
- I have gotten a lot more work done on the Interior Theater, which adds a new Laboratory set and a lot more additional Eye-candy. The Interior Theater is complete as it has all it's necessary components for map-making and reasonable eye-candy, but I'll still be making more bits and pieces for it, just because I can.

- Myself and Tore have gotten the Twisted Insurrection Website back up and running, with an all new and improved layout and graphics: Be sure to check it out!
And that is all I can show for now. Be sure to keep your eyes open for many more previews to come, I promise you, there is a lot more on it's way.

Not only is this a SWEET update to an INSANE total conversion mod, the prospects of firing nukes and unleashing Ion Strikes indoors is making me drool with anticipation! :)
Holy crap O_O that would be wierd... a nuke inside a building and not blowing it to complete hell? Love all the new additions as well as the searchlight =) thats badass.
I'm really loving the shadows being cast by the streetlight poles from their own lamps, it's that kind of attention to detail I enjoy.
