What is Tides of War: Clone Wars? ToW: CW is a fan-built total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released in 2002. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. While there are other Star Wars mods out there, none of have dedicated themselves to simulating the Clone Wars era.
The RTT is the Republic's standard means of space to ground transportation when LAAT gunships are not feasible or available. The RTT is armed with two laser cannons and two concussion missile launchers to defend itself with but is mostly dependent on fighter escorts to make it to a planet's surface safely.
RTT's will be the Republic's main means of capturing planets and stations in the mod. It is a smaller counterpart to the Separatis C-9979 landing ship.
