What is Tides of War: Clone Wars? ToW: CW is a fan-built total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released in 2002. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. While there are other Star Wars mods out there, none of have dedicated themselves to simulating the Clone Wars era.
Separatist factories churn out Vulture droids by the thousands on a monthly basis. The fighter garrison of a space station or battleship consists of nearly 1100 of these fighters or more. A capable fighter and very effective in swarms, Republic fighter squadrons often have trouble fending off attacks from Vultures.
The Vulture is the Separatists' counter to the Republic's V-19 Torrent. An unshielded ship, the Vulture has 2x the hull HP to compensate.
