For those unfamiliar with TA: Escalation (TA:ESC), we like to think of our effort as a production quality expansion to Total Annihilation which can be enjoyed in both Skirmish and Multiplayer settings. TA:ESC offers significant enhancements to the venerable TA gaming engine, including Cavedog quality models, textures, and presentation - a feat claimed by many, but realized by none; new GUI and extended menus; unique upgrading system for defenses and resources; deflective Shield Generators; mass unit Teleportation Gates; automated mass loading and unloading transports; Multi-Unit-Air-Transports; proximity bonuses for adjacent Fusions and Energy Storages; Surfaceable subs; walking ships; Omni Intel Towers capable of massive radar, jamming, LOS, targeting, and Commander hacking; and much, much more!

2nd pic is CORE Galactic Gate with outlining factory. And it goes like this, " As CORE successfully captured the sector, they had build a Galactic Gate to transport their armies across the planet and beyond. Commander, you're tasked to either capture it or destroy it. Gaining the control of the gate is highly preferable as it will help greatly in our fight against the ruthless CORE. Be advised, the gate is extremely hard to capture, as it's in the matrix of one of the toughest defense the ARM had encountered. Why they fiercely defended the gate, no one knew. Perhaps the gate have some sort of special coordinates which the Central Consciousness find useful for them. Nevertheless, it's a mystery. There are several reports of gravity anomalies in the sector. Go forward commander, make the ARM proud and preserve our fight for salvation."
