The Future
In the White Forest missile silo, an apprentice of Dr. Kleiner has spent the last few years building a very special radio. One that can send messages though time. His aim? To stop the Black Mesa disaster from ever happening…
The Present
You are Wes Yadot, a Black Mesa maintenance worker. Ordered to clean up a chemical spill, you don a Type-4 HEV suit. On your way back, the suit radio comes to life, and tells you an amazing, impossible tale…one that can’t be true. Or can it? The fates of billions are in your hands. Your actions will dictate the future of mankind.

Just a note to say that all the screenshots here are work-in-progress. Most custom models have yet to be done, and I’ll probably add more detail to the maps prior to release.
Also anything that looks familiar is entirely intentional. Players will visit some familiar parts of the HL universe, and longtime HL fans will recognize some familiar faces and places (all used with permission, bar Valve’s –I hope they won’t mind). I’m hesitant to credit all of them now so as to avoid spoiling them all.
I’ll be posting about voice work and modellers once most of the mapping (and thus the script written around the maps) is done.
Here’s a (very) preliminary credits list:
Powered by Spirit of Half-Life by Laurie Cheers and others
M.C. Escher’s ‘Relativity’ was an inspiration.
Combine Soldier models by tottmaster_c
Kleiner’s HL2 lab based loosely on one from “It’s Safer Here…” by tottmaster_c
Barniel from Azure Sheep, by the Azure Sheep team.
Barniel voice by Jenn "JennWolf" Kapler.
A few textures lovingly borrowed from Half-Life 2 and Portal, by Valve software.
Borealis Drydock based on a scene from Portal: The Flash Version Mappack by Hen Mazolski
Borealis arctic scene based on Episode Three concept art by Valve software.
…lots more credits to come!
I’m aiming for a release around March 2010

Hello KingDaniel just wanted to say that this mod looks promising and i am going to track it i hope that none of the problems that were in life's end are in this. i will writ a review as soon as this is finished. :)
The concept is perfect for a HL mod.
this will be awesome as the first one, "life's end"!!
Cool! Can't wait for this release.
KingDaniel Why don't you switch to HD content?
HD Content is known to be much more buggy, not sure why. Also if your a critic like me, you'll notice the guns don't look real... theres a USP Glock ( fake), M4A1-Mp5 ( fake), etc. its just not that good...
Great mod KingDaniel, this is why BlackMesa had won plenty of awards with thier research than the Aperture Science Enrichment Center since these 2 companies are rivals.(Aperture Science was seen in Portal)
