Tiberium Secrets was a C&C3; mod that was developed from 2011-2020. Our vision was to create a future for the Command & Conquer universe. We had 3 new factions planned, and managed to release 1/3 of our planned content. We scoped too big, and unfortunately needed to cancel the other 2 new factions. These included novel mechanics, lore, and IP. etc. Development has been sign sealed, and delivered. All that is required to play the ASI is a working copy of C&C3;: Tiberiumn Wars. All of the content is FREE! Of Charge. Explore to your hearts content! Love it or hate it, all things must end, so new things can grow.

ok,
So hopefully this is more clear as to our future intensions. IDK how to close polls We were never considering paid mods. And this title would have nothing to do with EA and C&C IP.

We are using ASI Colony and D51 by themselves, and reworking everything so it has no roots in C&C.
That is the proposal on the table.

In fact, years ago, people were saying the new factions had nothing to doo with C&C, so I was tasked to connect them.

I know this is far away, but thought it would be a good idea to get a pulse.

If you would just make a game in the vein of C&C gameplay wise I would give it a try. I've always liked the C&C formula. If I have a request, could it be apocalyptic like Tiberian Sun? That was my favorite choice the series took, and in TibSun it really felt like the world was ending and you were barely hanging on.

I'm gonna be honest... I would prefer some faction retooling to go with that. I mean, robotic hi tech AI faction? Some hivemindy organic faction? And then US-centric humans? That feels very archetypal for an RTS, I feel like you ought to offer some fresher themathical take or intriguing lore that impacts story for this to work, to avoid feeling derivative. You wrote some pretty detailed nuanced writeups on mod's takes on vanilla factions so I'm sure you could pull that off given enough time and willingness to revise things, too. I mean it's a fresh start pretty much, right? A new opportunity.

Hmm,
I understand what your saying, but there is somethign undeniably special about the factions of ASI, Colony, and D51. If that wasn't the case, we wouldn't have the impact we have had. We need to essentially distil that, and repackage it.

But if you have any ideas to shake things up, feel free to share.
We have a small team of writers laying the ground work as we speak, I'd love to get some community brainstorming going here, if you like.

If you're able to somehow incorporate all the goodness of the C&C franchise into your game, along with the first Company of Heroes game and the Total Annihilation or Supreme Commander games plus Warhammer 40K 2nd Gen; You have yourself a very unique game that I would buy in a heartbeat.

-Extremely different playing styles per faction... Many Factions...
-Smart AI comps
-Utilizing Environment "height" with realistic non-symmetrical maps
-Replayability = Same strats never work the same next game
-Game Modes "King of the ____"; Survival waves; Missions; Conquests
(Warcraft 3 custom maps specialized in a plethora of game types)

Just a start but that's the wishlist for committing to an indie game!

Gladly. If you will have..atleast some partial success, on Steam presumably, I suppose; just like the indie based on my old hungarian single developer friend from Meridian:New World or Nightside or those guys which headed to recreate DUNE20XX, then gladly.
But what engine would use use and how would you go about it, playstyle, etc.
4 factions like..hmm..Supcom FA or DoW 40k stuff aint exactly..
If they would be fully integrated as TW mod, like units commissions on patreon or somewhere, like Brewlan on supcom FA is, that would also be no problem for me.
In the end, its always a question of..funding I suppose.
I heard dudes from DOW 40k Soulstorm saying that a single unit voiceover cost around 20 bucks :D

I would take great interest I’d want a few more details of course. Like story game play concepts but it’s early days so I can understand not having all that yet.

The D51 somewhat reminds me of Homeworld from what I've seen, I'd hope you'd keep to that direction and like use a lot of mobile base units because I haven't seen any rts games that does that.

The ASI should maybe have something different but it was tbh cool to have it similar how Generals played out.

Idk about the Colony but maybe do something unique idk?
