Tiberium Secrets was a C&C3; mod that was developed from 2011-2020. Our vision was to create a future for the Command & Conquer universe. We had 3 new factions planned, and managed to release 1/3 of our planned content. We scoped too big, and unfortunately needed to cancel the other 2 new factions. These included novel mechanics, lore, and IP. etc. Development has been sign sealed, and delivered. All that is required to play the ASI is a working copy of C&C3;: Tiberiumn Wars. All of the content is FREE! Of Charge. Explore to your hearts content! Love it or hate it, all things must end, so new things can grow.

Here are my infantry ideas from the old topic. all comment is appreciated.

1.
Name:Martyr
Type: commando
role: anti-unit, anti-structure
Weapon: shock-generator claws, dark-matter bomb

Story: A Martyr is a clone of one of the original Black hands that made ASI. as part of the Testament of the Black hand who is getting cloned, the body gets armed to the teeth with cybernetic implants, cyborgic modifications and a device that grants the ASI full control over the nerve system. the hands are amputated and fitted with powerfull shock-talons, that generate a electric current by amplifying the magnetic pulses generated by the nerve system. These shocks can overload the nerve system of organics, making them drop dead on the spot. the shocks however, do only minor damage against metal. he is also armed with a dark matter bomb that can destroy any building in a flash.

looks: a humanoid with large silvery talons at his hands, in a high tech armor

abilities: same as all comandoes
overcharge (and ability in which the martyr generates such a strong flow of electricity, it can boil the armor of vehicles, destroying weaker instantly)
2.
Name: Turned one
Role: basic infantry
strong vs: infantry
weapon: light machine gun

story: Turned ones are nothing more than Awakened ones that converted to ASIM's side when it awakened. they keep the same powers and body only their
machine gun has been increased in rof.

abilities: EMP shot ( doesn't has splash for a little more ballance)

prize: 400 ( he will win with 40 % of his hp left when going 1-on-1 with gdi soldiers, and even more when 1-on-1 with militia, not due a great increase of hp but due carrying machine guns that are to heavy for a normal soldier to carry without resting every minute)

3.
Name: Scrapper
Role: basic anti-tank and air infantry
strong vs: look what i said above
weapon: photon cannon ( similiar to that of seekers and devestators, but faster,brighter shining and are more disc shaped ( less ball like than the scrin ones)

story: these disturbing shock troops are ASI's basic attack line against vehicles. at first sight these things look like metal 4 legged spiders, but closer inspection will reveal that the torso is actually human, a torso fitted at all sides with metal, with the spine pointed to the ground and the place where the intestines would be hollowed out for the weapon system. the first "design" featured a pulse laser, but the knock back tipped the scrapper backwards when it was fired when moving, making it easier to kill. When ASIM got hold of scrin technology , he installed a proton cannon.the photon disc cuts through metal at a fast rate, and is fired so fast that it doesnt have need of homing to hit a aircraft. they come in groups of three.

note about movement: the scrapper can fire while shooting, but not through a turnable cannon but by manouvrating back or sidewards when firing at something not in front of him.

looks: a short, turtle like head, a small torso with the cannon in it, a small gap that glows purple and 4 spider like legs

The Scrapper sounds rather unsettling....

Maybe look something like TS Cyborg Reaper?

idk, something about the description just feels really creepy to me.

As for the Martyr, sounds good, except the amputation part.... seems inefficient to clone a human, them amputate and replace inside, sounds better to just make a full on robot...

The thing with making cyborgs, is what advantages does it have over a pure robot, or a pure human? what are the draw backs of each type?

Although cyborgs sound cool and all, they need to have a purpose, not just "they're cool, so lets add them"

The very difficult part of ASI units to thought out are their infantry. What is their nature? Surely there will be some robotic, there already were the discussion of if semi-robotic=cyborg? (human with implants), I think the Conscripter has his place in infantry production tab certain. xd Or will there be full-robotic infantry, different type of cyborgs like Quake Strogg, or androids (Jean Claude Van Damme and his Universal soldier) or Terminators (Oh,I would love these for ASI), or like commercial on ESET NOD antivirus with Novus Ohm robots and I,Robot film? Rather speculation,pls dont take the question too literally. When in real life humanity ever invented anything,it were inspired by nature.From flying,to EAs creation of Scrin infantry units, to Matrix film,etc,etc. And here I think that ASIM were NOT inspired by nature when he were creating his infantry or anything.But that doesnt mean ASIM will never use his knowledge of humanity to put it to good use when his digital calculative mind stirred not always just by priority protocol calls for it. (Occasional emotions,yeah :- D) So I suppose there would be no bug-like walker units in ASI infantry. I am sorry for just another tons of speculations,again. But you've said it for yourself:"Although cyborgs sound cool and all, they need to have a purpose, not just "they're cool, so lets add them" . And I think ASIM is led mainly by purpose.If we dont know anything behind of and lore about the "ASIM's feelings and thoughts while he were creating his army",how can we truly suggest any ideas for ASI units? Thats why I am speculating so much. Dont misunderstand,its not a demand to reveal anything. IMHO ASI is the spitting image of Cybrans. Decide for yourself.

partly ASI's creations are based on practicallity and logic, and for a small part a psychological effect (disgust, fear, terror). Turned one's Where ASI's choice mainly because he simply had them, so why don't use it. the Martyr is a hard-code inside of him (the Black Hands wanting what was left of them as a weapon), so no matter how odd using flesh for a hull is, he has to use it and thinks around its flaws, plus, 2 legs have the gift of agility,combat and sneak. the Scrapper is pure practical, as its body is made from a cybernetic cross weave of flesh, making it strong but yet flexible, and the 4 legs are yet again for manouvrebility.

Wonderfull what can you find if you just type "robotic infantry" into google. :D

But as for ASI infantry,or maybe even all units,I would try to stay out of walkers, or even of those Scrin bug-like things as much as possible.
But now,with new updates,we finally knew ASI themes.I've been thinking about some fire support for Conscripters.Some "Grenadiers" type with ability to clear out garrisoned.Well,we can just say we shall have 2 types of Conscripters.The first has pulse rifles (infantry,vehicles),the second can have even more hardened armor, maybe with some launchers,could function for example similarly as Starcraft 2 Terran Marauders,Firebats.

Google.cz And then I should think about some infantry with anti-air attack, as I dont know if pulse rifle should be/are effective againts air, if Hunter will not suffice.
