This shader is mocking me. The color of both textures is identical...

Anyway, last update for today. I'm hitting the sack.

I think you should go easy on the weathering effect, they look poorly-maintained this way. But the overall design is cool.

Maintance has nothing to do with the look of the hull. Have you seen todays F-22 Raptors? They are still one of the best jets in the world and yet they look pretty damn dirty and used.
If the engine runs there is no need to make the hull shine like new and looking at the harsh enviroment in the Tiberium world it is a wonder if vehicles stay clean.

They look like they have been in use for decades in a rough environment.

Something has bothered me with these Orca.....why are the engines positioned so far back, especially on the bomber? With how front heavy it likely is.

Based on Aeronotic design if the engines are to the aft of the body of the aircraft the tail should be weighted to make up for that. If that is not the case there would be some major balance issues with that Orca bomber as it is in flight.

...There are engines in front of the bomb bays. And the bays can't open if I move the main engines forward.

Why do you bother that much with physics in a tiberium game tho? In case you didn't know: Tiberium as described in TW doesn't quite follow physics. Nor does the ion cannon. Like oh so many things in the Tiberium universe.

And that's why you don't use the TW version of the fluff!
:p

A lot of stuff in the Tiberium Universe isn't physically viable. Specailly ion cannons, plasma weapons and tiberium itself :P

True, but that could simply be explained by certain aspects of nuclear physics functioning differently in that universe.

to be honest it would look better with the engines on the bomb bay section not behind. but that just me

It wouldn't, because then, the bomb bays couldn't open.

Lead in the wings are a great counter-balance material.
