Praetor II Render image - Empire at War Expanded: Thrawn's Revenge mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.
A new Imperial ship for 2.0, the Praetor II. This will be used by Warlord Delvardus for his flagship, the Thalassa, as well as be added to Palpatine's roster in era 3. It's main role in the mod will be as one of the main ships of the line for a new playable Imperial group in 2.0, more information oin that coming soon.

Imperious wins hands down. its a legacy era ship 100 years ahead of the praetor 2. its like comparing a nebula class with a venator. Placeing $100 on the Imperious

As Ronald McDonald would say, I'm loving it! BTW, I would like to suggest having this buildable in Pellaeon's era for some added firepower, because right now with the lack of anything more powerful than an ImpStar II, those New Class ships, K-wings, and soon the Viscounts are just destroying the Remnants forces, and I think the Praetor II would definately help, seeing as Pellaeon doesn't have access to a Super Star Destroyer.
Sometimes bigger isnt always better, sound tactics can win almost any battle. Just takes the right amount of preperation
While tactics can win battles, when your enemy is in many cases 2, 3, maybe even 4 times stronger than you are, you need all the help you can get, because right now the Era 5 Remnant is somewhat of a pushover late in the game.
Chulak, you are right. In cannon, I have taken down huge enemy fleets with nothing other than a space station and it's reinforcements. Numbers just make tactics more effective.
used to take whole fleets with just a couple corrilan corvettes, now with mods, its somewhat harder
your right i helled off a rememnant fleet with six assualt frigates and 3 quasar carriers in the transitory mists. The rememnant had 5 destroyers and around ten to twelve frigates
