Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.

Combining Chiss and Imperial technology, the Visvia was designed by the Empire of the Hand at the urging of Voss Parck in anticipation of the impending Yuuzhan Vong invasion. It combines the basic versatility and firepower of the Golan II and III with four immense Tri-Masers each the size of a small starship, which, although they fire and rotate slowly, can criple most targets in a single shot.

Are there going to be any additional weapons other than those four turrets? It would make sense to at least have several fighter squadrons docked in it or point-defense weaponry (quad-maser cannons or something). Anyway, it looks awesome and I'm really anticipating the release.
Oh and are you gonna tell us a more exact firepower on the cannons or do we have to wait? I'm assuming each shot is probably something similar to a hypervelocity gun in strength (but doesn't pierce shields) Oh and congrats on 7 years! You guys do great work!
There are a significant amount of other defenses on this, don't worry. It's closer to a Golan II than a Golan III if you leave out the turrets (maybe a little less) but honestly if you leave out the turrets when considering this, you're putting yourself in a losing situation.
The cannons are not quite on the scale of the Hypervelocity Cannon with each individual shot. There are definitely some power tradeoffs with having this type of weapon versus the planetary weapons. On the one hand, you can't necessarily hit one target with the same single target up-front damage, but on the other you can have more than one of these, and the damage can be better distributed; there isn't the same bad feeling you'd get from wasting the cooldown on an HV gun on finishing off a ship with a few hardpoints, or even just using it to wipe out a corvette.
My mind is now blown *show Death Star explosion scene* hehe. I was expecting it to just be an artillery cannon, but as it's going to be an actual station I'll definitely be using these a lot. Not to spam you with questions, but are the turrets going to be auto-firing like normal hardpoints? It would really suck to have normal situation of all the guns shooting at fighters instead of actual ships... Anyway, great work as always! If I could (my monetary situation isn't that great...) I would give you guys tons of money for all your hard work...this is really top-notch work.
They'll be normal hardpoints as opposed to abilities in order to make them function properly, however we're going to make it so they can't target anything that's too small to feel worth it (definitely fighters, maybe even corvettes). They still have plenty of other regular megamasers to deal with those.
This, essentially looks crazy awesome! I also want to point out how great the webpage looks with the grey design and atmosphere. After looking through so many mod pages this one really shines! It makes a big difference. Keep up the work guys! 7 years and counting is a great achievement! And a great mod production!
The description kind of implies that it's only available in later eras, is this so?
