Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.
While we work on finishing the remaining bits of 2.2, some of the broader planning for 2.3 has started going into place, and there's gonna be at least one new playable faction. More details soon.
That´s gonna be fancy :) !

IT'S HAPPENING!
I look forward to seeing how the team fleshes out the unit roster. I've always found Hapan ship designs fascinating, with their inventive workarounds and tactics that helped mitigate their technical shortcomings.
Playable Hapes Consortium?
Sounds fancy, but do they even have any more units available from Legends sources beyond the four units already in the mod?
The only other I can faintly remember is the "Beta Cruiser" which is apparently a sort of "Light Frigate" smaller than a Nova-class, with the "Starsprite" being the only known named member of this class.
Then again though, most units of the Hand are original designs if I'm not mistaken so there's to see what interesting stuff comes around in this area.
Since in the stories the Hapans are very often allied with the NR it's gonna be a little awkward to see them and the NR duking it out in GCs like the Imperial Warlords do with each other.
(A diplomacy system which allows alliances or at least Non-aggression pacts is sorely lacking in this game's engine).
There's a few more names, in particular the Hetrinar Assault Bomber, Stella Frigate, and Beta Cruiser, but no more depictions. The rest will be original designs, much like the parts of the EotH's roster that aren't named Nssis Clawcraft.
We are approaching it the same way as the Empire of the Hand, though as Jorrit says, we actually do have a fair bit to work with here. We're basically taking the Star Destroyer approach with Battle Dragons- it's a designation, not a single class, and calling the known one the Hapes-class Battle Dragon. We know from Legends they did have other classes of ships, we know they had thousands of ships, and we also know the one fleet we tend to see of theirs is the Honour Guard fleet, the one with one Battle Dragon for each planet in the Consortium, but Isolder mentions just how big the fleet actually is on at least one occasion. They also have the shipbuilding and repair facilities to have made and maintain something at least as big as the Star Home, so much like with the Hand, we know they had this stuff *somewhere* and we're taking the opportunity to explore that more (contrasted with smaller factions, where it doesn't make sense to create extra stuff for them because it's unlikely any of that would have existed).
Ah, the naming convention I took with my project was that there were larger, destroyer-class vessels called War Dragons, with "Battle Dragon" referring to cruiser-class warships of a certain design philosophy. I rather like your idea though.
nice, will they be playable?
Yes, as the image description says. They're already in the mod as a non-playable faction in previous versions.
i assume 2.3 Hapes will have the vast majority of stuff from ASC 1.2 Hapes? can't wait to see the rest of the awesome things you guys have planned!
Yes, the space rosters for the Hapans in Ascendancy and ICW will be more or less the same.
HAPAN EMPIRE SOON
