Cant download part 1, it says "The file you are looking for seems to be unavailable at the moment. Please come back later". But i could download part 2. WTF ???

Guys, when you click the link to go download, click the "if your download does not appear click hear" button, then itll download no problem :)
we couldn't even click the download button because it weren't there. so going to 'click here' button was not possible.

Its out! Yay!
when i click on the desktop shortcut it loads the total war screen. i then click play and it gives me the options of which part to play Medieval 2, Americas, Britannia, Crusades and Teutonic. nothing about LOTR. i then click medieval 2 and it loads the start screen with the ring and it sayd The Third Age in the background and i think its working. but then it says "Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit"
PLEASE HELP
same here, only i go straight to the loading screen with 3.0 in the background, and then it gives the same error .... i am getting soo frustrated :(((

I´ve had the same problem and I reinstalled it but it did not work :( what can I do now?
uninstall and reinstall third age. there will be a third age shortcut appearing on your desktop after installation. click on it to open third age. don't use the launcher if you're gonna play third age. hope it helps
Aren't you supposed to replace a mod like americas or crusades and not medieval 2 total war itself?
rename your file to like americas and name your americas to americas_1 or something so when the option comes up you just play on your ``americas´´ campaign :)
If you are using steam, you have to rename the third age folder to the name of one of the other campaigns. Then you'll be able to start it.

Tried it didnt work. Am i supposed to select Medieval 2 or the campaign i rename it too? Can anyone tell me what they did to get it to work for them on steam?
nvm dude it works. u gotta changwe the name of the original campaign forlder to anything "i used derp" then changed the name of the third age folder to the name of the campaign i changed to derp. The dev has a guide on this. Its working as of now. I havent tried battles yet.

Anyone having trouble downloading with Chrome? I had to use the notorious IE and surprise surprise, it lost both files somewhere during the night.. Chrome says "Error 349 (net::ERR RESPONSE HEADERS MULTIPLE CONTENT DISPOSITION): Multiple Content-Disposition headers received. This is disallowed to protect against HTTP response splitting attacks."

@ willychong8921 - That is because you didnt let it finish downloading that would the only reason you would get that error my advice is to wipe it out and redownload it again ,,,,
