The Shadow Over Innsmouth is a single player Half-Life 2 Mod created for a school project with all the students of my class at NAD Center.
The game begins at night in the city, the player is awakened in his hotel room by loud noises at the door and must flee his hotel. His race will bring him into the narrow alleys of the city to end in the city sewers, but also in secret rooms that suggest dark ceremonies dedicated to the mythical god Cthulhu. Finally, he finds himself in an old port where it needs to reach a lighthouse in a final attempt to survive.

Yeah I'm getting the same error
I know this is a pretty much dead thread, but you can fix nearly all source mods by adding every source SDK and HL game into the gameinfo AND by downloading an old version of the Orange Box or HL2EP2 (it is up to you how) then you copy the resources into one cruicible folder then you have to overwrite an old HL2EP2 instance with those files and folders, then you have to copy the mod's files into that folder overwriting some of them in the process.
This way your mod'll have all the resources to run propely (with or w/o Steam) and also can check for missing ones in the referenced SDKs and the new versions of the games.
I havent found a way to fix this mod, I like the custom content and atmosphere created. Because its been broken by the source update, I was wondering if anyone knows a surefire way to get mods like this to run again?

This mod used to work quite well. Regardless of content or gameplay, it was easily installable and had no issues in the past. Valve loves their modding community, they encourage it, but they cant help but screw over the mods in their updates.
I really hope something can be done to get them fixed, so this mod and others can still be played.
Just started playing this and am getting a LOT of missing textures, more as I go, mostly walls. Will try some of the fixes. Looks mostly good so far, although I agree the Combine radio chatter is very much out of place, I hope it's something you can re-do, it would make quite a difference to the overall effect.
