Latest News: BetterSpore Milestone: 10,000 downloads – Parts Pack on its way

It is been 3 months since the stunning release of BetterSpore 1.5. Since the 14th of March, there has been over 10,000 downloads from our official server, and up to 20,000 from across the internet, making BetterSpore the most popular mod for Spore. It has been featured in magazines, and we even had Maxis talking to us about how we balanced the gameplay (I can’t really say to much more about that though 
)
So what has been happening the last few months?
We have been gathering bits and pieces from some of the other modding greats to start building BetterSpore 1.6. As celebration for passing the 10,000 download mark, we are going to be releasing 6 completely new fan made parts this month.
More details on the new parts later on, but where are we heading for BS 1.6?
Well first off all, here are some of the new mods to be incorporated (partially or fully) in:
- Cell parts extended
- 43 new planet decoration mod
- Bigger Planets
- Popy’s Fantastic Voyage
- ForceSave mod
- Star Fleet Epic Battle Mod
That is not all;, BS1.6 will include many features made especially for it, new parts, a BetterSpore compatible Epic mod and much more! There is currently no release date for BS1.6, however it will be released after Galactic Adventures, and will be made to work with GA.
We are always looking for new modders to help us out, and anyone is welcome, just send off an email to BalLightning@gmail.com, telling us how you can help make BetterSpore better, what skills you have (sporemaster, modeling etc) and a portfolio of your work.

hi guys, i joust found a download for 1.5.1 in the Spore Downloads Tab.

i Guess someone had the mod, saw that mediafire.com had deleted the file and generously uploaded it to moddb.com
i can confirm that the file is V1.5.1 for there are a few changes and a few new gadgets in this version, including some sorting issues. anyway
here you go for those that haven't gone to the spore downloads tab and seen it already
for those who have found it and and not given a comment/link.. I Fart in your general direction... (Sorry.. to much monty python ^^)
anyway.. its good
this mod is either pretty dead or the creator is joust really busy and doessent spend much time att all doing annything... or the creator is busting his ***, modding for the next version. unlikeley but, ya never know... (joust kidding. its DEAD) the mod hasent beed updated for 2 Years and the moding site witch his download link to the 1.5.1 version has been taken over by som advert but.. there is a site inside sporedum.net with is Sporedum.wordpress.com witch is a wikipedia type page full of information and links...
one problem though..
all the links are expired!!! even the changelog readme
So annyway. Long Story Short, stick with the 1.5
atleast moddb is awesome enough to let the downloads stay on for, well
quite a while ^^

When i choose cell state it shows the video and then the screen goes black please tell meh what to do.
hmm there site seems to be gone ....
yes but the Space Age is just so amusing to crush whole civilizations with a bomb that cost more than my homeworld...
although i this mod does not necessarily make the Space age bigger or longer. it adds more to the Space Age rather then Making it bigger or longer
(before a troll comes along and sees my post i want to say that i did not mean it that way... :3)
but i would like to see the tribal and covilization stages grow larger
(to my last reply about trolls)
