If their is a campaign, Will their be voice actors? Do you get to make choices like in the mass effect series? Will their be cut scenes? Will the gameplay be like SWBF2 (take over and blow up stuff) Sorry, I Sound like a reporter

Choices: Maybe.

SWBF2-esque gameplay: The cover system will be like Mass Effect's, and the squad and enemy A.I. will react similar to that of ME2/ME3.

Strictly speaking that's a bit of an exaggeration. There is no actual "cover-system" like that in the Mass Effect series. Zero doesn't support it. There's cover, and you duck below it. That's it. You can't shoot around corners for example.

The A.I. use cover, yes, but they're still pretty dumb from time to time.

We don't exactly want to falsely advertise, not that you were trying to. ;o

Good, Cause I like shooting things out in the open, Hiding behind cover makes it harder. :) P.S No problem WULF Mosly everything has a limitation, Plus Zero is an old engine.

Trust me, you will NEED to use plenty of cover when playing Unification. Not only do you have slugs flying at you; there are missiles, biotics, tech powers; just a whole slew of slamming ordnance wanting and ready to kill you within a couple hits. No weapon in this mod is weak; everything is powered realistically but balance is still retained.

You NEED to use cover.

Yes. Every Unification-tailored model has high-res textures and makes use of normal maps.

Man... There are no words to describe how much I'm looking forward to this. By all means, take your time... Perfection isn't born in a day, and this will probably be my favorite mod of all time with the amount of progress you're making.

Any chance of getting a preview of Tali at some point? :-D

The team will reveal things when they're ready to be revealed. Which you would you be more satisfied with, seeing a model that's barely been started, or waiting until the model is fully complete, hmm?

I wasn't asking for an incomplete. I was wondering if a preview at a later date near completion wouldn't be out of the question.

Honestly, I like seeing things when they're ready. The fact that Tali will be playable and that Rannoch is going to be a map have already gotten me to the point where I'm ecstatic for this when it's done. Sometimes it's not bad to give the fans a preview. Kind of like the ME3 Multiplayer beta (not asking for a beta, mind you. :-P). It was a great way to draw extra publicity and a way to get the fans hyped for the final release.

Tali's player model actually *has not* even been started yet. Keep in mind that we're always accepting experienced artists, level designers and programmers to work with us and help us out. ;)

I'd set up to the plate in a heartbeat on that one, but I couldn't do any of that to save my life. ^L_^'

Have you *tried* modeling or programming or designing levels? Most of it (minus programming, in my case) isn't nearly as complicated as it seems. You can't learn something unless/til you try it.

I've tried it before, and it really confused me to no apparent end. The only thing I am decent at is texture work, and even then it's pretty basic and not overly appealing.

Ah. Sometimes, learning concepts like modeling just takes proper instruction as well as basic knowledge about it and the modeling pipeline you use.

Basically...

Vertex/Point: A depthless property of a geometry that makes up a part of a polygon or edge.
Edge: Two connected vertices.
Polygon: A composition of two or more edges that share a vertex.

I'll create a few tutorial videos and upload them to YouTube.
