Actually the book describes them as being just a little bigger than a normal elephant ;).
Smaller if anything...
But they are still buildings, but it could be to powerfull and unbalanced units.
can you actually fight against/with them?

Perhaps, using moving siege tower entry pionts,adding leg moving animation,and putting player and party entry pionts on top would make them work for sieges.
Also using the trunk as a ramp for passengers to get on to the wall,and TLD team could think of something to let ground troops be able to up on the mumikal.Ropes perhaps?
I would so want them in my army if it was possible
