We've gotten permission to use and adapt art from The Dwarf Holds. This is the new Erebor fortress.
Featuring Raven Banners, Solemn Guardians, Moat, Erebor Braziers, Horns of the Gate, and the Arkenstone.
Credit goes to Nertea, creator of The Dwarf Holds. TDH has recently seen a Widescreen re-release: Moddb.com

I like it, but the banners and the Arkenstone of the previous fortress was better. But it is just my opinion.
Why did you remove the previous fortress?
Better overall design and quality. It will mesh better with our plans for the rest of the Erebor buildings.
The basic building is really better but those banners could be replaced with your earlier banners or the movie banners...
Nah, Nertea's are better. They have originality. The Arkenstone part up top might have some banners hanging from it but we're not 100% on it yet.
Maybe the difference from the movie design is strange for me.
Because I liked this aesthetic more.

This is more... stony then the old fortress.
By this i mean, it looks like it was build in a hurry for the incoming battle, maintaining the quality of the dwarves. And i thing it really fits the war, the old one was more adorned, like it was there for a long time, instead of just build (except for the arkenstone).

Love the design but I would have preferred you kept the emerald green rock of erebor. The grey is tad depressing for dwarves.

We like the stonework from TDH so we're keeping it. The Erebor map will include the green stonework however.
