11 unique factions full of new heroes, spells, and abilities. Hundreds of new maps. A brand-new campaign. A thoroughly reworked and expanded War of the Ring mode - and much more!
Excellent redesign, retaining the flavor and soul of the original design while adding a new and more realistic touch.
Slight critique: I enjoy the fact that we have goblins and orcs randomly walking about their recruitment structures, but perhaps this does not fit on the "good" factions. If gondor soldiers for example, have some leisure time you can expect them to enjoy some down time outside of their barracks, but you can bet they're not going to be doing that in full gear. If we're going to hop onto the "realism" bandwagon then either strip the randomly-walking-about soldiers of their armor or not have them walk randomly. I feel the two guards at the entrance are a perfect example of how this should be done. If we're to have soldiers outside of the barracks, keep them on their guard duties and have them stand still, not slopping about, like orcs would.
To quote a song I like: We nitpick 'cause we love you and we want you to be great.
Well consider that this isn't their "leisure time" and that their job is to make sure the area is secure. The patrols aren't and shouldn't be considered a visual, they're a mechanic, they walk around the structure and constantly look for nearby targets to engage whilst remaining unattached to your main army. This makes them useful when near a structure that doesn't get them i.e. a eco structure, and when your army leaves the base, they defend it against immediate threats.
Patrols wear their un-upgraded attire, if you purchase the technology for an upgrade they can receive, they'll permanently receive said upgrade (i.e. buying Heavy armor grants the soldiers Heavy Armor permanently).
Good points. I hadn't thought of them as patrol since they move about seemingly aimless, if they had a set patern and were walking in pairs perhaps it'd look more like a patrol. The armor upgrades are a nice touch.
Cool guys, who is your buildig designer ? :P
Bcause I'm the guys who sometimes floods the #modtalk in discord :D
And I would like to make awesome buildings like this.
Yeah! Design buildings is be first time mod than other never use design. Beautiful buildings but too little grey. I love Ted Nasmith's design Minas Tirith is most beautiful than PJ's movies Minas Tirith too grey, uneben and not beautiful!
