Hmmm... I don't know why I imagined Wyrms in The Lord of the Rings more elegant and slithering than your model... more like this version of Smaug: Orig08.deviantart.net
Longer head, neck, body and tail... more serpentine...
Still it's wonderful and much better than the original Fire Drake. However, if I may suggest... rename it to Fire Wyrm, as in the Hobbit, Smaug is referred as a Fire Drake (and Smaug is winged)... Wyrms are wingless.
There's no skeleton that we can use for a longer body type - if there were, we'd be right along there with you.
As to your Wyrm suggestion: you're absolutely right and it will be changed.
