Well but can you cancel the formation if you regret it?
In the original bfme 1 many times i was forced to send many troops in suicide missions in order to create new troops without a formation because many times i clicked accidentally in a friendly troop instead an enemy troop because they were too close(fighting each other)
Moreover there is a disadvantage if you combine for example a melee unit with an archer unit, and then if you attack an enemy only the archers will attack, while the melee units will do nothing like meat shields.

I know what you both are talking about but this function wasn't implemented in the game to begin with so it may be impossible to do it. To circumvent this shortcoming I make my combined unit go as close to the building as possible and only then I make them attack that way non-archers get to stabiddy stab stab the building.
I think it may be one or the other. So in game the reason why you'd make a combo battalion of melee fighters and archers is so that the swords stay back without the micromanaging. If you want the swords to attack up close - then don't make a combo battalion - or you can move the combo to the place you want the melee to attack.
Looking at the castle in the background, the architecture and design in this mod is just something else. You guys consistently put out great quality content, it's very impressive.
Great job. And what about to adding some kind of stone ground system it was used by BFME 2 Special Extended Edition mod about 6,7 years ago, it giving the game a more realistic look. I suggest you to take a look of that. Thanks.
I was a beta tester for SEE! Like...9 years ago! SEE was one of the most interesting, nuanced BfME2 mods of that era. It slowed everything down and made your troop choices a lot more of a commitment. Also, buildings were very very difficult to destroy so expansion was a lot safer.
Sorry for gushing. The floors were awesome but the bugged out all the time.
Sorry i was not meant to be agressive... I respect all of these moders(including you) that modify the games and make them better with a lot of hard work and passion!
A work that the original creators, who design games for a living, sometimes fail to achieve 100% successfully...
One question, i've seen that the computer never make walls (well Gondor and Isengard of course), this problem will be fix in next upgrade?.
I saw the other day your play game at live... wonderfull faction, and i saw that walls can't be attack by normal soldiers, only with trolls, catapults, etc (if i saw well). i think this is a perfect change, thanks!.
And i saw very powerfull dwarf's infantry, well at least vs Mordor's soldiers, i have to play with them to see better.

Nope, you'll have to be careful. Thankfully the fortress can decommission units.

Looks nice, combining forces is really strategic and cool
well...it looks really good. And those shields in the front ready for archer fire and to block an enemy charge. Really good

A lot of the Dwarf architecture was based on Nertea's work for The Dwarf Holds, which we got permission to use and adapt. So all credit goes to him.
When I combine groups of like units, when a few die the whole group splits into single, uncommandable, untargetable units. Will this be fixed?
Or maybe like units just wont be able to be combined?

That's a great way to get bugged textures when using powers like Tainted Land.
Interesting, and those that created the Special Extended Edition did't fix those textures with tainted land?? What is so "special" about it then?

if the cpu player is gondor or erebor can it make walls for itself ??
