First one to guess exactly what this is gets to send me a picture of their face for use on a unit texture variation.

Heh, yeah, fiefdoms are going to be an integral part of Gondor rather than a flimsy new faction.
This is a building which you train units of Dol-Amroth and Prince Imrahil and it is a spellbook power? Or unlocked by upgrade from fortress or a spellbook power... My best guess about it

You're right. I didn't specify any 1-guess limit. This is the Dol Amroth citadel, summoned through the spellbook. It will recruit Imrahil and other Dol Amroth units.

Okay so I think that this could be;
a) A fiefdom specific fortress (this could be the standard Fort(?)) upgrade (for Dol-Amroth as shown)so something along the lines of the system in Edain where you can choose between the three Dwarven mountains (Ered Luin, Erebor, Iron Hills) after the selection of the faction you have Prince Imrahil, Knights, Swordsmen etc... of Dol-Amroth at your disposal.
b) It's a "top tier" spellbook power which allows you to "summon" the Citadel of Dol-Amroth as a forward outpost (or defensive building of sort) with various unit "support" upgrades, while it basically does all of the things I mentioned above. Or this could be a special recruitment building on it's own (which I highly doubt it is).
I like the design of this citadel! looks very stylish.
do you guys consider adding new naval unit's for the game, like for example:
After you buy the power and get the citadel, all you’re naval units will be replaced by ships from Dol Amroth with get a "coolness bonus" (because they are now from Dol Amroth) and improved vision/armor (or something like that).
That's a very good idea!
I second that notion, I feel that while naval combat isn't always viable depending on the map, its something that gets left out in most mods and has a lot to offer.
Agreed. I'm sure that the AotR team could come up with something good to make it balanced/fair and feasable enough for use in games.
As far as I know, Cirdan's ships would be superior to the ships of Gondor, he has been shipbuilding for many millennia.
However, if we could create new ships (and not just reskins of the existing ships) then they could get new or alternative roles in the ship roster? A Gondor ship be added to the roster of elvish ships available to the Free Peoples.
Or Gondor could get their own ship roster from the start of the game and Dol Amroth could provide a ship upgrade for the Gondor ships.

Is this structure an upgrade to the fortress, once you have the fiefdoms as an ally? does the standard gondor castle then upgrade to this one....
It's a buildable mini fortress (we call them citadels) that is unlocked through the spellbook.
Well color me purple and put some batteries in me and call me a Friday night... damn awesome idea there, I love getting buildings from the spell books, like towers and so on, think this will make Gondor one of the best factions in my book, hated most other Gondor factions in mods due to them not having a wow factor but this will affect the faction's strategies in a great way!! good job guys.
The team felt the same way. Gondor often feels very monotone - steel armored guys and the same old heroes - but now they've got a very colorful unit roster with lots of upgrade branches and options.
Ya see why I love this mod, you guys think of everything and fix all the stuff we hate about mods, especially adding those awesome towers to Gondor, the first time I saw that I took a snapshot and sent it to a few of my friends and they all downloaded the demo version just to see how the towers function in game. I can wait to actually play with the elven faction(s) to see what they get!!! Will you guys have a separate faction for Rohan?
There will be a Rohan faction, yeah.
Gondor towers are really cool! I also wait the other factions, mainly Erebor (I am dwarf fan) . Erebor looks very promising and awesome.
