The GrotFest mod is an opportunity to bring the Grot race into Dawn Of War, as well as creating a whole new playing enviroment for the Grot Fest games.
The mod will contain the all new Grot race, which will contain new models such as Grot Warriors, Grot Loons and the Battlewaggon. It will also have a campaign, which details the Grot's escape from Ork tyranny, and their quest for power.
It will also contain maps for use in Grot Fest games, allowing players to develop a whole new way of playing them, and allowing for all new games...

At first i thought this wud be stupid but reading it makes me think it will be very fun keep it up I am a huge grot/goblin fan finally a mod that will be for pure fun
@ The_Integral : well maybe I was wrong about the time it takes to make a good mod but... It's about motivation, skillz, knowledge and HARD WORK (I know it sounds like an 'sensei's advice' :) ) I also had some mod Ideas that I never annouced. Why? Because I don't have the skillz, the knowledge, and the tools to do it... that's the point! Most of mod teams annouce things that cannot realize like : 'We are going to make a kick@$$ mod bla, bla, bla ...' - after few weeks : 'Well it's not as easy as it looks! So stop asking about when it will be done!' - after aonther few weeks - 'Yeah it looks we're dead but we aren't!' - and not so far the mod dies... so if u r annoucing some stuff the ppl are expecting u to do it right. Basicaly if u can't finish something u better not start it!

They have actually done some things that they've posted at filefront recently, I just don't think they update here very much. Also, good mods take more than a few weeks to make, and I would rather have a complete mod released after a long time than some half-baked one.
hm... this mod has been anouced a LONG time ago and still no progress I think it's dead!
P.S. 20%? That's 1/5 they has to have atleast the conceptual art! Think about it, not even a scetch is shown here!
P.P.S. DA REAL MODMAKERS WORK SERIOUSLY AND MAKE COOL MODS IN A MATTER OF WEEKS!!! THEY ALSO KEEP FANS WELL INFORMED!

U knows if grots are weak then the only way they can win is to swarm the enemys. So their better be a lot of dem.
grot only army, i would get it if i feel like an easy match i wouldnt play as them though
Hey mister "*undisclosed*" if you actually played dawn of war and if you have ears you can hear the grots say "Gretchin is ready" by selecting them sometimes.

I played a grots only game with a pal of mine on the DoW multiplayer but the guns from the buildings almost killed them all off.... they r too weak man
grots are grots. gretchin! do you play warhammer? they build in the game and are a meatsheild. basicly the same with TT. anyhow, sounds cool. ill download it tonight probably.
