The Great War is a modification for Company of Heroes meant to bring the war two decades earlier. This mod focuses on the later years of the First World War. Currently the two teams will be the British Expeditionary Force against the German Empire, however with time the team will try and bring some more nations in, such as France and Austria-Hungary. This mod will focus or realism but keep the game balanced enough to make it enjoyable. Things to look for in the mod are the famous artillery strikes and the infamous gas attacks. Trenches will provide vital cover for infantry while tanks will roll over the battlefield and instil fear into the enemy troops.

You don't understand english well enough. It's not necessary to say an entire sentence when a single word explains enough.

They have artillery, tanks and armoured vehicles. Awesome mod! I've been tracking it since last Christmas and this video is more than enough for me to see that mod has progressed over the year.Hope the release is well on its way.

most of the units will have advantages in defense rather than offense, like the real war right?

Should we? Perhaps...
CAN we? Heck no! You don't realise the amount of work required just to do one unit's complete speech pack. For instance vanilla Sappers speech consists of 2'470 separate sounds and 337 hex code files to tie the sounds to events.

Those tanks had a maximum speed of about 6 km/h, they should go slower than they do in the video, the car was also really fast. Other than that it was nice to see gameplay, you've come a good way, keep it up ! :)

The tank speeds are fine and accurate, and will be kept as such. The ingame un-modified speed of the Mk IV is half that of infantry. Speed is terrain dependant in CoH; all vehicles have increased speed on roads (as in the video). The video’s choppiness might be why it seems that it’s driving faster than it actually is, and I apologize for that (had trouble with compressing the original).

The Rolls-Royce armoured car could drive at 70km/h on roads. The ingame road speed is lower than that (and it receives massive speed penalties when off road).

Ich finde euren Dialekt echt zum quieken! Vorallem da man ganz eindeutig hört woher ihr kommt. ;-)
Falls ihr in Zukunft weitere Videos aufnehmt dann macht bitte VORHER einen Mirko- / Aufnahme-Check. Einer der Sprecher ist eindeutig zu leise!
BTW: Danke für die Mod!
