Russian sub basses tended to be like that as most of the complex was hidden underground or in the side of a cliff for example.

But yea as it is now that shipyard needs to be at minimum 4 times longer that it is with the main complex extending out onto land.

We are limited by the engine, don't forget that!!! Why Blizzard didn't make their units and buildings with proper size??? Because it will brake the gameplay...

Oh man so many complains about shipyard that not fit with the sub... Guys the engine of the game doesn't allow to make proper size units, even the sub is a twice smaller it has to be...
If I make the shipyard twice bigger it will take you half of the screen, also don't worry, the sub appear a bit far from the center of the building ;)

I was thinking about that dock-size problem, and I think I´ve got solution. Small ships (coastal vessels, rocket ships...) will be constructed in dock building, and bigger ones (Koznecov, typhoon class submarines...) will come outer from map. Dock menu will still have "submarine" button, and when you press it, on the right side of toolbar will normally started countdown. When submarine will get ready, it will come from some point in the border of the map. Consider it.

I guess that the naval maps will have all borders on wather and if no, than there should be pre-made point for every player on the map (no matter how many drydocks he will build, there will be only one point from wich the naval units will come)

I don't care if sub fits the shipyard etc...I just care about moving animations(i know it's hard and this sub doesn't look like its flyin so gj) and balance.Great details and concept good job

oh & in real life the kursk was a 30 year old cold war relic. that is WAAAAAY past it's service life. submarines have the lowest hull life of any type of military vehicle, for obvious reasons.

Your information about all is so wrong... First Kursk sank because of US torpedo strike during demonstration of the new Russian torpedo shkval to Chinese generals... read and watch more and you will see the truth hidden with hundred soldiers left to die just to bury it...
Second Kurs was new class submarine with latest technology for that time...

How will P-700 granit work? I´ve read that it´s the most advanced anti-fleet missile sistem in the world. And its launching in groups of 4-8 missiles (cause its guidance system is based on groups...)
