Cool and happy BD.

They probably call it still WIP 'cause they wanna add some more props on the ground and perhaps enhance the walls to the left and right a bit more still looks somewhat empty without any storage signs etc.

Indeed! It hasn't had a detail pass yet, so it's just the bare-bones required to create gameplay.
We tend to do a level design pass, a scripting pass, a detail pass and then an audio pass.

Of course, here at SnC we like to challenge ourselves from time to time and we do that process in reverse.

Certainly some form of mapping I should have considered for my own mod I always just built everything at once room by room that of course brought a lot of bugs along + the lack of time I have . Well my mod is pretty much on ice ever since not to mention that huge steam update back then that ruined HL1 mods even though it's fixed by now.

Dat 0.50 scaled textures. <3

Nice pic though! Have you considered also to lower the light brightness (and change color) to gain a bit more atmosphere? It looks a bit too much illuminated imho.

Also: Happy BD Half-Life. <3

Cheers for the comment!
I always try to use lighting to convey a particular feeling and this area is one of suspense, but relative safety. Have no doubt the lighting will change from this early version, but it does need to be a stark contrast to the following area which is much darker.
