I'm digging those computers using existing HL textures to show the innards of the tower, nice work :)

It's always impressive to see how seamlessly they use HL textures.

Very good looking! I hope that the reward for surviving all these dark and creepy areas will be a refreshing walk on the surface, my favorite part of Half-Life!

What time frame is this set in? I would assume the same as Half-Life 1.

It's just... that's a fancy monitor. Although, who the bloody hell cares?

The same years that they had wall breaching laser cannons and teleportation fields. :P

In all seriousness though, we're sticking with the original 200X- dateline, as seen in Freeman's acceptance letter. Flatscreen monitors made an appearance in Opposing Force which is set in the the same timeframe so we'll say it sticks.

Although, there are still plenty of beige CRTs and towers on show in the mod as well. :-)

I always felt that it looked like the Lambda labs hoarded all the nice fancy new tech and everyone else got the leftovers :p

Good point, I didn't think of it like that.

Although, time perception isn't typically a major factor in scientific games, because, well, it's just 'Ci-Fi', meaning all could be.

Good work.

I visited a micro-electronics manufacturing facility, they still use very old tech for most of their equipments. Especially for administrative purposes, you don't need fancy computers in any way.

This is pretty much the best looking half-life mod out there right now.

Incredible work as always. :) As mentioned above, your use of standard Half-Life textures and custom ones is just brilliant, they blend seamlessly, and not to mention you are using old textures in new contexts which is great! Keep up the great work!

You don't use custom textures for signs?

Description

Here you can see a work in progress shot from the first chapter. A lot of work is being done on this chapter to change up the gameplay a little which relied pretty heavily on backtracking previously. Instead, the player is now rerouted, keeping things fresh for the player.

We're always striding to make things interesting for you guys. :)

As always, we appreciate your feedback.
