A Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour total conversion. This Mod focuses on Modern and Near Future Combat using the latest Military technology and armament.
The Stryker is a recent "family" of armored fighting vehicles which entered service in the US Army, these vehicles have been adopted with several roles in mind, hence there are several specific variants with several roles.
The "Stryker Family" in TAOW will be composed of 4 members, each one with it's particular role and duties:
- M1126 Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV);
- M1128 Mobile Gun System (MGS);
- M1129 Mortar Carrier (MC);
- M1134 Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM).
The stryker from Act of War :P
nope, why would it be from act of war? i think act of war's models would be too high in poly for cnc.
You haven't seen "Cold War Crisis" mod's models then. :)
Look it up and see.
Agreed. That mod bogs down a shitload when there are only 5 models on my screen. Of course it's a premade vista pos
Even the Mobile Gun System,Cool
The MG in the back looks a little big (looks like the Grand Cannon from RA2)
Awesome work,
Flotsam
Though it's a 105mm cannon it's still a Big Gun, here are some images:

The basis of a tank destroyer (self-propelled anti-tank gun) is to basically mount a big cannon on top of an armored fighting vehicle (it's a suitable alternative to main battle tanks, specially on lower intensity conflicts).
Thanks :)
105mm? like an arty or a Howitzer?
Think of this particular 105mm cannon as a medium tank gun by today's standards (the one which is used on the American M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank is 120mm).
lol then what's a heavy tank?
Main Battle Tanks such as the M1 Abrams are the current day heavy tank successors (MBT's in this case were made to be very flexible, and to respond to many of the battlefield necessities).
The main MBT calibers are 120mm (Western origins) and 125mm (of Soviet origins) though it's thought there'll be an increase in caliber in the near future due to tank armor advancements (then again there's also the concept of replacing MBT's with lighter vehicles or anti tank missile-equipped vehicles).
Interest in vehicles such as the Stryker MGS ("Tank Destroyers") has been increasing exponentially lately.
yup. the russkies are still 5 millimeters ahead of us. :P
looks very good...but the green doesn't fit to the "middle east"
The team also discussed it, we considered making a desert camo but since the vast majority of the Strykers generally have a green pattern we eventually chose to keep green as their standard color to keep realism.
There will be a sort of small skin "variants" depending on the weather conditions though, desert Strykers, for example, will look more "sandy".
im not a fan of strykers but the 1 with the mortar impresses me soz 4 bad english
