Are you going to be able to make a sign so players know what are fatal-safe drop distances?
I think there is no real need for it. You can fall a pretty long time without dieing, and you can always use air brakes.
Is there a sign in real life when your about to jump off an extreme height? No.

Heh, if only mirror's edge thought about this instead of the leg breaking insta death look at me super jump fall damage style O.o
....... or was that just because I played it on a demo setup...
