I would recommend to get rid of the piano solo at the beginning as it has no real structure and thus sounds out of place. From 00:24 on the track has an awesome beat and interesting variety as its different sound layers fit together smoothly, love it! Keep up the great work! :)
The out-of-place piano at the beginning serves to create a sense of transition; i designed this piece with the idea that it would be heard when the player emerges for the first time from a dark, enclosed section into the expansive, despairing, open world. Reaching the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak, would regularly be a happy, heartening moment, so the beginning of the track tries to embody that. But as the player realizes that they are in fact only escaping one difficult situation to enter another, more intense one, that upbeat, cheery feel is nullified by the transition into the darker piano patterns. Thank you though, that was just my rationale; everything is still very much in a rough-draft stage.
As I mentioned on Echoes, the beat seems to distort slightly, possibly due to the volume of it at the time of creating it. Should be a simple change to make.
Other than that, a really great and interesting piece, keep up the good work, lads!
pretty sweet :D
but what is the music for background or ingame?
would be best in for a background tbh
