Tamriel Rebuilt is a community mod project which aims to recreate portions of The Elder Scrolls universe. We are currently developing the mainland portion of the province of Morrowind as a modification for TES III: Morrowind. Using our own stylistic interpretation along with established TES lore, we intend to flesh out this province and create an engaging game play experience. We are approaching this enormous task on a layered basis, creating 100% of one portion of modding before moving on to the next. We have a number of organized departments working on the various aspects of our mod. These include, but are certainly not limited to: Concept Art, Objects of Tamriel (custom assets), Literature, Sound and Music, Exteriors, Interiors, and Quests. We have recently released our the third of eight maps, or sections. Sacred East, as we call it, is the culmination of years of hard work and unceasing error-fixing and play-testing. If you would like, join us in modding Morrowind at TR!

Description

Sacred East is now available for your enjoyment! Sacred East features some of the most lush terrain seen anywhere on Morrowind to date. With dense jungles, sparkling rivers, and impressive plantations, Sacred East is an adventure into the frontier of a previously-unexplored region: the lands of Great House Indoril. The Indoril may be known as the pious and religious among all the Great Houses, but they are not immune to terror, and it will be up to you to unravel the mysteries plaguing Almalexia's favored, as they call themselves. Prepare yourself for amazement, intrigue, and more than a little cross-country backpacking! We have reworked the way we bring our releases to the community. You must delete all previous TR .ESM and .BSA files and replace them with the new versions: TR_Mainland, TR_Data.ESM, and TR_Data.BSA. This way you'll not have to keep adding files for each release (up to 9 or 10 files for a single mod!), and instead replace the old file with the new one of the same name

Once again I am having problems with the BSAreg tool. I run it and it says "All BSA archives are already properly registered" even though I have not previously updated the BSA archives. I've tried running it as administrator, and I've uninstalled and re-installed Morrowind(I have steam version) I am running 64 bit Vista. Please help!

Version 1.2 is out now! Get it while you can!

@deathgivercola It states in our ReadMe file (and in the mod description further up the page here) that you must delete your old maps and replace them with the new content here. Additionally, you will need to register TR_Data.bsa manually. Find where Morrowind.ini is located and add X=TR_Data.bsa in a new line under the [Archives] section, where X is the next highest available whole number (0 and 1 are usually already used for Bloodmoon.bsa and Tribunal.bsa, which would mean you would use 2 for TR_Data.bsa).

Guest: Yes, it requires both to run. We build our mod using the patched Game of The Year (GoTY) version of TES: III.

Doesn't work. As soon as Morrowind opens it just says all the TR data is missing. Terrible. All I did was follow the instructions in the readme, and it didn't work at all

When opening the Morrowind launcher data files, are you supposed to check both the TR_Data and the TR_Mainland and uncheck all the other files?

Both TR_Data.ESM and TR_Morrowind.ESM should be checked in the launcher. Any other .esm files from TR should be deleted.
