Tamriel Rebuilt is a community mod project which aims to recreate portions of The Elder Scrolls universe. We are currently developing the mainland portion of the province of Morrowind as a modification for TES III: Morrowind. Using our own stylistic interpretations along with established TES lore, we intend to flesh out this province and create an engaging game play experience. We are approaching this enormous task on a layered basis, creating 100% of one portion of modding before moving on to the next. We have a number of organized departments working on the various aspects of our mod. These include, but are certainly not limited to: Concept Art, Objects of Tamriel (custom assets), Literature, Sound and Music, Exteriors, Interiors, and Quests.

We have recently released our very first public beta of the 2nd of six maps, or sections. Map 2, as we call it, is the culmination of many years of hard work and unceasing error-fixing and play-testing.

If you would like join us in modding Morrowind, or if you would simply like to know more, visit our forums at Tamriel-rebuilt.org  We'll see you there!

Detailing, the modding stage Map 3 is currently undergoing, is moving along at a rapid-fire pace, and it won't be long before we're ready to move on to NPC placement and dialogue, which is the last step before our beta release! Remember, Map 3 will include such marvels as Necrom, the city of the dead, Gorne, an Indoril-style gem of a settlement on an island off the eastern coast of the mainland, and of course...

Almalexia itself! The capital city of Morrowind, (surrounding the capitol of Mournhold, which is playable in TES: III Tribunal expansion) in all its glory, covers over 9 cells, with each cell jam-packed with buildings and structures and landscaping. It truly is a marvel to behold... with hundreds of interiors (and don't forget that many are multi-celled) and 9 full cells, Almalexia is sure to keep everyone busy for days, and it won't even have quests added in the beta version!

Get ready to see Morrowind as it was meant to be!

Morrowind's landscape and atmosphere has a certain picturesque feel to it that Oblivion lacks. The different architecture of the societies in Morrowind also makes me feel like I am in a universe in which cultures thrive independent of the player. In Oblivion, it feels like all the communities are influenced by the same culture and the same philosophy. There is hardly any imagination in that and hardly any diversity. It brings me joy to see such modding communities still exist. They are very rare indeed. A true gem in a sea of commercial corruption in the gaming industry :)

TRACKING.

It seems that TES III just keeps getting more and more ambitious mods lately. This mod is definitely one of the most challenging and exciting to see, as the level of content to be added is enormous, and it's obvious how much time is being put into releasing only topnotch material.

Keep it up and good luck!

The sound folders "fx" and "r" should go in the \Data Files\Sound\TR\ directory

Maybe i don't understand something in readme, but where is a .cel files for each .esm file in this mod?
Morrowind crashes on startup with an error - "Missing .cel file for TR_Data.esm" Where can i get it?

Sorry for this strange question...
.cel files seems to be a engine enchancements, which are made by russian localization.
All is needed to solve this problem - is creating .cel .mrk and .top files for each new .esm

But now shows up another problem... All dialogue topics are damaged - looks like an incompatibility with localized Morrowind dialogue engine :(

I'm not sure what the problem is... mod incompatibilities with the Russian version of the game? I didn't know the game was made in Russian.
