Full Version 10 commentsThis mod removes Syndicate's eye-searing bloom. IMO, it makes the game much more enjoyable to play.
A modification that removes Syndicate's incredibly overbearing bloom effects. Syndicate's bloom does a disservice to the game's art design and hinders playability. With this mod enabled, you can actually see the walls in some areas. (You can also see stuff that was meant to be hidden by bloom, too, but that's a worthwhile tradeoff.)

CTRL+ALT+TILDE to bring up console
then type in cl_toggleshowhud
Off the top of my head, I dunno. The mod could probably be modified to additionally cull the HUD elements. But that would likely break important stuff like hacking prompts.

crashes on starting up even though I have booted the game on the menu. How?
This makes the game *look* so much better, but I'm getting sub-30fps on my OC'd GTX 1070. That surely can't be right?
I have a GTX 1060, and I get close to 200fps running with the mod. have you made any other changes to the game?
Same, I'm getting some awful performance on my GTX 1080. I'm hitting 40 FPS with it whereas I get 120-150 without the mod.
For me too. @Ambient_Malice, Can't you use this (or a custom version) to inject the new shaders?
