So... Anyone still here?

If you are, thank you and also my apologies for the silence, I (Uplink) was meant to make an article a while ago but I was a bit lazy and just never did.

Okay past the excuses, we're still working on the mod and we've got a little bit of stuff that I've decided is worth sharing, like these custom models:

A small hospital table custom made by the project's leader Toashen

A hospital bed model custom made by Toashen, its being used in a small sequence (thats why theres a camera)

No longer will you be using the same old Crowbar, with the power of modelling its not a giant street sign


Yeah... Guess its not alot but for the most part I dont have images to share (There's a couple new music tracks made and you cant really see music), but Chapter 1 is going under a total overhaul, and later on we'll be going through and replacing HL2 assets with custom ones, we'll leave that for later on as to not shoot ourselves in the foot right now.

Well, again to repeat myself.
Apologies for the silence but we are still here and we will actually release this mod.

Hey man. This mod looks really cool! I can see your influences and how those influences have driven you to create something of your own. Going forward remember that criticism is important to take on board but don't let people walk all over you and your creation. This is your mod, Your style and at the end of the day you'll release what you believe is the best vision of what you set out to create. So stick to your guns and learn all you can about the source engine and I'll be there to play this cool mod when It's released :)

I see that you added the Construction worker, but will there be more variety like, Surgeons, Nurses, Police officers or Military soldiers?

Yes, we will add more variety in the enemies.

Also, the Construction worker will be a late game enemy that you will see in and after the Construction site area.

Gave it a go and it's quite rough, seems to be a linear de-make of Cry of Fear.

Some good concepts, although I must admit I had more fun with the bonus maps such as the Afraid of Monsters bathroom recreation and the short coop level.

The shotgun also takes eons to reload and is practically useless and I can barely see anything in the forest area and had to cheat just to progress multiple times due to it's total inaccessibility.

Thanks for giving feedback, i'll make sure to try not to literally rip off cry of fear as much. in the final product most of your problems with the mod should be fixed. I would like to make the mod less linear later on, but it's kinda hard to make different paths connect but i'll try my best to add stuff like that.

Well, I played. Maps are empty. But I enjoyed playing. There is not enough dark music. More suspense. Combines spoil the atmosphere. It is not always clear where to go. I would like to help. Write if interested.

Yeah i think the combines are a little bad, sorry for making it unclear where to go, i'm also trying to work on the music thing but im still learning instruments and the source engine itself to, i am intrested about you helping, could you tell me what types of stuff you can do? eg; music modelling mapping coding?

Made models, made maps. Coded a little. Copy - Paste coding. It is difficult to complete something. And I have no ideas. You have better ideas than me. So write or in PM, I will help as much as I can. Better with models or maps first. Thnks.
