This is a cool new mod for Tribes 1, no-jetting mod. Gameplay objectives are based on the game BattleField 1942, and the technology came from many other World War 2 games, like Call Of Duty. For now, has 2 game types, conquest (go to our server or the BF1942 website to find out), and a new one called "server coop", in which all server players are on the allied team and play against German AI forces while having special objectives and situations.
Features:
1.Many fun maps, in different sizes and with different looks, every map has its own special feature.
2.More than 40 different infantry weapons that have a pretty realistic look and their own strategy of using and getting used to.
3.This mod you have never seen! It is not even close to the default Base mod or any others, this is a total
remake of Tribes!
4.GamePlay is almost like in BattleField 1942 (spawn options, conquest mode etc. for those who played it), which makes it even better!
5.Right now about 15 different types of stationary weapons with realistic looks and firing. (See our website)
6.The mod is made in a way that it will never be boring to play even with 0 players with you in the server.
7.Each side has different technology which is also different, depends on the country battling in the map.
8.You wont believe it, but there is a realistic-looking WWII battle tank tank for each side and few fighter planes (machine guns and drp bombs).
10.The mod is currently private and I think it's better this way. Most trusted members of our clan can have a copy though..

No, WWII mod isn't dead. Still here.
Its 2010, Tribes is somehow still alive and we are now a known server and mod.
There are several projects going on right now regarding WWII so I want you to know about them.
First there is a single-player edition to WWII Tribes which is being created right now.

Hopefully, a nice set of missions will be created, there will be no continuous storyline between missions, just one for each mission, where the main goal is testing/giving you the skills you need to play awesome at WWII. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year 2010, when a nice CD image
with Tribes on it, WWII mod built-in with client pack and everything - as an entirely new game, will be let out for free download.
Smartbot project was stopped for ever mainly due to it being a huge project and it would not bring too much good to the mod. So it's not worth it. Time goes on and we must make the best of it.
There is a constant and a durable Israeli server of WWII running for you all.
It is hosted by BFW Kotaros and you are welcome to play there.
WWII Client Script v1.3 will be released this year too, providing even more awesome functionality
for WWII players. Due to its complexity I suggest you make a new Tribes folder where you will install it, mainly for playing WWII.
The website will be renewed again soon, where player stats and rankings (the new uber system) will kick in. It's going to be great!

Yeah, but the effort is still worth it!
