Hello community, First off all, we'd like to apologize that the promised large update still hasn't been released. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it, mainly because we were not given the task of publishing it. To bypass the waiting time, we have decided to publish a small update again.
Allow us to present the newest additions to our team:
- Navitas and Justin3ds, our new Environment Artists
- Doco, our new Lead Sound Designer
- Orianbeter and Nostrum, our new Coders
They are currently all in the four-week probation time, but already doing some great work.
So much about the general information, now to some pictures! Let's start with some work from our new member, Navitas:
These buildings will probably be found on the Asgard maps, when finished. Next are two new drop ships, the already known one of the Goauld, this time finished, and the totally new Tauri drop ship:
And finally, thx to Duke, the finished Aschen fighter:
And last but not least, the best of today, an awesome new map from Klon! I think most of you will recognize it:
The buildings for this map were also designed and modeled by Navitas. And that‘s just about it for now...hope it helps you waiting for the big update, have fun!

It will only be in Pegasus Chronicles, it is not in the current,released version. But even in Pegasus Chronicles, you won't be able to build it.

yeah it looks like the planes that drops the tanks and jeeps off in afganistan also they use it for taking the people who have died over there to take them home it looks like that but stubbier and it has jet engines nice work merlin but i think you should start off with that at tech 1 and you get better the higher tech you go that would be cool but in the mean time that looks great oh almost forgot the new coders. lead sound designer and the enviroment artists i cant wait to see your work and probably as many of you here no i like the sounds in games so i look forward to doco's work and th same to the other's cant wait :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
the stargate mod is by far the best mod i've ever played!!!

is there anything to upgrade the graphics on the shields of the ships
bc i have my graphics to lv3 and they dont even show the shields till they get hit
i just want better graphics on the shields
yeah pause, game, then graphics put that on full if your computer can take it but it will take a few seconds for the game to take it coz it has to tell everything anyway it wont show the shields unless they gett hit there will be like a ripple, but the shields wont be on full all the time so dont get your hope's up lol
i remember what i really didnt like bout it now
when the shields get hit the ripple doesnt curve with the shields
its just flat, no curve what so ever (exception when the shields are attacked by fighters or small craft)
and how do we get these new update for this mod
im kinda new on the site

oh well it depends 1.1 has spino's patch included and everything fixed i think lol and with 1.0 you have to download spino's addon and a patch i think lol but i dont work for them so i dont know about the shields but i do love the shield effects even though i have no graphic card's but yeah let's hope there better in the new mod oh and it's for forces of corruption
Set your shader details to maximum, then you'll have the shield effects.
Concerning the updates: these updates are "information" updates concerning the new mod, not downloadable ones for the old one!

im getting the shields even at default lv3 detail
its just when then shields r impacted the ripple is just flat it doesnt curve with the shields itself
not sure if that is how it is or if there maybe some way to make it better in the version i have
hopefully the shields will look better in the new mod (from the atlantis video they look better)
Ah, now i know what you mean! Well, that's why the shield effects are flat textures and not spatial effects ;)
We can't change that, but as the shields-up ability works again in the new mod, you will get to see some really cool shield effects (not impact effects) ;)
im not complaining here merlin but i like it when the boost power to shields look better when the shields arnt showing it's more stargatey like lol

haha lol hey merlin ya know the stargate sg-1 episode into the fire why not put those cannons in near the end in the mod there like really tall like pillars and have a giant staff weapon on them
Those turrets are already in-game. At least they were in former versions. I'm not sure if they were used in the Final 1.1 anymore. But we will add them again anyway.
