Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.

Actually I have never thought about that, but I think it would be possible somehow. Anyway, as the model is already finished, we will not add this function ;)
Wow, not knowing much about the workings of the game I doubted that possible. That would be epic, although I believe it would end up being kinda pointless because they are small, (relatively speaking.)

Looks awesome, but I expected a few more hardpoints. Like some of those big mounted turrets from "The Siege" as anti-fighter hard points or something. But awesome work, really!
Well, it shouldn't be an anti fighter ship so we left out the railguns (that couldn't dire through the shield anyway^^).

Yes, but not buildable.
As this is your mod I won't be to picky. I know you don't want the realistic effect of ships dying basically as soon as they lose shields, because it doesn't create a truly strategic game. However, Atlantis SHOULD have a really low hitpoint count. But whatev's.
Another idea is that it can Boost Shields, at expense of Engines, or Boost Engines, at Expense of shields, because 3 ZPM's can only do so much.
As i said to RaGod, that's something we are working on, but it's really hard to balance!
We are still experimenting around with some things, for example a very high reload rate of the shield so you can only destroy it with many units that are firing simultaniously on Atlantis, but that also leads to the fact, that it is almost invincible if the enemy has only a small fleet or even a big fleet but only with frigate-class ships, you know?
It's quite hard to find a good solution for that but of course we had also the same idea.
Hmmm what if it was just a long lasting shield not a fast recharge, so a sufficiently large force of frigates COULD whittle it down but it would just take a long time (nigh impossible) cause lets face it, does anyone think that wraith escorts could ever knock down the Atlantis shield? :D
You're right, but it is still not the series but a game.
Giving the shield 100000000000 health points is as good as giving it a short recharge rate, cause Atlantis would simply take out the whole fleet before the enemy ships had destroyed the shield.
It's not that easy and be sure, that we have already tried some things out. It's a balancing issue and it's not final, so let's wait what the release will have...
instead of too much shields, you could make it where no projectile can pierce the shields (so missiles cant just take out the shield generator or drone bays making it defenseless) and higher resistance to primitive weapons like Earth has. And make it a hero but a long recharge time when defeated. Is that possible or am I just rambling?
Of course it's possible but it won't become a major hero and the rest is just another way of balancing...

that is a beast but fer the power issue just make it really expensive so that if you built it it would be at the cost of enough smaller ships that would equal its power

Depends on what you mean, but the drones are anti-capital ship drones.

When it is in space, is it possible that it could build puddle jumpers in skirmish, kinda like a portable base and only way to access Ancient Technology? Or is that too much of a long shot?
In skirmish or GC map?
In GC for sure, but in Skirmish...i'm not sure.
Anyway, it won't appear in Skirmish in the first release and we will not make any Ancient ships buildable in GC.

he's asked because in the series when the shield failed in space you would die, because it kept the oxygen in, so thats why everyone is wondering if the shield fail's does that mean the city gets destroyed

They ARE enough.
Actually in the show they do have railgun emplacements takne from the promethius
remember when those episodes in first or second season i can't remember but a hive came and they fought it back with the railguns
