Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.
mikey1871 asked us here if there is a front view of the Goa'uld hover tank concept...
Indeed! :)
Looks nice :)
now you just need to model it :D
thanks for the 45 deg view. I understand how difficult it can be to make a frontal view. But yes, if you could place the cannons on top they would have ROF. even if it is a hover tank. that tank still has to make the turn. It would take lots less power and there-fore time to just swivel a turret.
Doing this would give you some lead way if your running up against what the game engine can do all at once cause you could reduce the Rate of Fire and or slow the movement a few .0's Just saying :P tank looks great btw !!!
Hey Mikey, well first thabks for the message ;),
However I am not sur I understand well what you mean, because I don't see how it would be better if the main cannon where on top, not only do I find it ood to have it on top, but also how does it effect the turret?
It might be because I didn't understand what you said. But If you could explain what you had in mind it would be perfect ;)
PS : this is a hover tank so there is at least 2m from the ground to the main cannons
I think I understand and I liked the idea so I made a quick drawing in powerpoint: Moddb.com
Thanks for the drawing, I see what you mean, but By making the front cannons a turret it would loose it's purpose of being an anti-building and vehical cannon. More over, in game the time to shoot isn't influence that mutch by the turn...
Howevere this are nice Ideas and the final decision isn't made yet ;)
ok, cool. thanks!
